Justin
It's been a whole week since the party and I had been ignoring Y/n. A transfer was my soulmate. A freaking transfer. One of those snitches!
I leaned against a locker and sighed. You're overreacting, Justin, I told myself.
"No, I'm not," I argued aloud, causing a few students to give me quizzical looks. Shoes clicking against the pavement signaled that someone was coming. "What?"
"Um, I, um. Hi, Justin. You've probably never heard of me before, but I'm Ella. You look really sad, can I help you?" a soft voice asked. I glanced up and my jaw nearly dropped, this girl was beautiful. She rosy cheeks, cobalt blue eyes, full lips, and waist length chocolate brown hair. Thick glasses perched on her nose and a scarf adorned her neck.
"Hi, Ella. Um, I'm good, you're presence is enough," I flirted. What are you doing, Justin?! my mind screamed. You have a soulmate!
"Oh, heh, thanks," she giggled, a little flustered. Ella seated herself next to me and we spent the next hour or so talking. Turned out, her dad was away and her mom had left her, so she was alone at her house.
"If you want company, I can come over anytime," I offered politely, not meaning to sound like I was inviting myself. Ella's gorgeous eyes widened and she squealed happily.
"Oh, thank you, Justin! We can have sleepovers," Ella cheered. I blushed and nodded. Next thing I knew, her tanned arms were wrapped around me. I hesitated before hugging her back.
"Do you want to go now? School's over," she asked. I shrugged.
"Why not?"
I drove us to her house. The house was a two story condominium with little window boxes. Ella looked at me eagerly, grabbing my hand and leading me inside.
"What do you want to do?" Ella asked, revealing a closet full of board and video games.
"Um, you choose," I suggested, scratching the back of my neck. She took out chess and prepared it on the table."Checkmate!" I said happily. Ella pouted, crossing her arms to be more dramatic. "Oh, don't be a baby about it."
"I only want to be your babe," I thought I heard.
"What?" Her face turned scarlet.
"N-nothing."
"Ella," I said sternly. She sighed, staring at her hands.
"Look, Justin, we've only just met, but I've been watching you for a while," she took what she said into account, blushing madly. "I'm not a stalker! You're really nice, funny, and sweet. I've liked you since freshman year. Sorry, I-"
I cut her off with my lips on hers. Ella tensed up at first but melted into the kiss. Soon enough a 'simple kiss' turned into a make out session. When we separated, we were both panting.
"I would love to make you my babe," I said, resting my forehead against hers.
"Thank you, Justin. I love you."
"Love you too, babe."Y/n
I cried out in pain as my neck burned. Hurrying to the mirror, I watched the words turn a venomous black. I gulped. When words turned black, that meant... that meant.
"No," I stumbled to the floor, curling into a ball. Justin had found another girl.
