Y/n
Tomorrow, I would be turning eighteen. Fudging eighteen. Holy shiz.
"I'M GONNA BE EIGHTEEN TOMORROW!" I screamed, running into Avian's bedroom. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, glaring at me.
"It's three am, child, go to bed," he complained, lying back down. I rolled my eyes and ran around the house a few more times.

I skipped all the way to school. Tomorrow, I was going to be an adult. An adult! Whoop!
"Lucy, I'm going to be an adult tomorrow," I cheered to my pug ( I finally remembered the pug). Her brown eyes glared at me and I resumed petting her.
"JUSTIN," I yelled in his ear. He jumped, clearly startled. I laughed at his reaction.
"What?" Justin asked, sounding a little annoyed.I
"Hi," I smiled at him and he groaned, facepalming.
"I hate you," he grumbled, walking away from me. I giggled and skipped after him.
"You love me," I smirked, pulling a strand of his hair. Justin's face turned red and he stiffened. I didn't put much thought into why, though.
"U-um, I'll see you in algebra," Justin said, quickly walking away. I tilted my head and was suddenly shoved to the ground by some asshat.
"Seriously," I growled, glaring at my attacker. Oh good, it was Avalon. I couldn't wait to fight the mythic b*tch. Wait, no. That title was reserved for Heather Chandler, antagonist of my last school.
"Apologize," Avalon demanded, glaring down at me. I stood and crossed my arms.
"For what?" I spat, a bit of a Spanish accent slipping into my words. Sometimes, when I get really mad, I sound Spanish. I have no idea why.
"You were in my way, idiot," she sneered. "Gosh, you sound so stupid."
"El diablo," I muttered under my breath, turning my back to her.
"What did you just call me," Avalon asked, sounding extremely pissed. I faced her.
"Av, chill, it isn't a big-" Ella started. I had hardly noticed her. Avalon whirled towards her.
"Shut up, Ella," she growled.
"Sorry, Av," Ellie mumbled, apologizing to me with her eyes. I smiled at her and scowled at Avalon.
"Now, what did you call me," she asked through clenched teeth. I rolled my eyes and began to walk away, when Bryden came and blocked me.
"Answer her, b*tch," Bry ordered. I nearly cried. That was the first time anyone had called me a b*tch.
"Piss off," I hissed, trying to move past her. Ella was petrified, scared of what would happen to me.
"What. Did. You. Call. Me," Avalon growled. She grabbed the collar of my shirt.
I really just wanted to get away, and perhaps I wasn't thinking clearly, but whatever. It worked.
Avalon glared at me, her bright eyes glinting with anger, rage, and fury. A smirk slowly found its way onto my face.
"You wanna play this game?" I said quietly, hands sneaking up to her collar. "That's fine."
My hands snatched her collar, and I pulled her face down, connecting our lips. I let go a second after kissing her and bolted to the infirmary. Hearing Avalon's empty threats and screams cheered me, and I made the trip in a minute.
"Miss L/n, what are you doing here," the nurse asked, thoroughly confused. I smiled brightly at her.
"Just waiting something out," I said simply. She still seemed puzzled but went back to work on another kid, freshman most likely.
After a good twenty minutes, I left the infirmary and headed to algebra. I wasn't late since Justin had left me at 7:25 and class started at 8:15 (guys I actually did math).
"What held you up," Justin asked as I entered the classroom. I smiled at him.
"Nothing I couldn't handle," I answered, a smug grin plastered to my face. A grin that stayed there the rest of the day.
"Y/f/n L/n! Did you seriously kiss Avalon," Justin screamed at me through the phone. I giggled.
"Who told you," I asked, a smile on my face.
"Ella," he sounded flustered.
"Y/n, you can't just go around kissing people," Justin scolded. I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," I said, planning on hanging up, " bye, Justin."
I pulled out my laptop and began typing my essay on the revolutionary war (must be really awkward). A few moments passed before I noticed I had received an email from one Philip Hamilton.
Call me
~ Philip
It said simply. I raised a brow and picked up my phone, finding his contact.
"Philip-"
"You promised me, Y/n! You promised me!" Philip screamed through the phone. He seemed angry, scared, and sad all at the same time. "Never do that again. Never again. You scared me out of my mind, Y/f/n."
"Philip-"
"I thought I lost you! Theo, Fran, and I, we all thought we lost you! We were crying our eyes out!"
"Philip-"
"Why did you break our promi-"
"Philip Hamilton," I shouted. I could hear him crying, very loudly in fact. "I'm sorry." My voice lowered to a whisper. "I'm so, so very sorry, Philly."
"Don't leave me, N/n. Life wouldn't be the same without you," I could hardly hear Philip's broken sad voice.
"I-I won't."
