Y/n
Today was auditions. I breathed in deeply before walking on stage. I smiled at the judges while nervously clutching my guitar. The judges were just Mr. Ming from the drama class, Miss Jennings from music, and the principal, Mr. Xavier.
"My name is Y/n and I'm auditioning for Elphaba," I took a deep breath. Then I started to sing.
My eyes were closed when I finished the song. When I opened them, the judge were staring at me with dropped jaws. I bit my lip nervously. The judges applauded. I bowed and left the stage. The results would be posted on Monday.

"So, how'd it go," Ella asked, elbowing me gently. I smiled at her.
"It was good. How about your audition," I questioned, glancing down at her.
"I just wanted to paint the settings. I made Justin sign up because he told me he liked acting," she shrugged. I laughed as we walked down the hall.
"Wanna go to my place and play Ghost Recon," I offered. Ella jumped up and down eagerly.
"Of course!"

"Thanks for hanging out with me, Ellie," I was dropping Ella off at her house. She grinned and hugged me.
"It was fun, see you tomorrow," we kissed each other's cheeks before I left.
When I got home, I pulled on my uniform. It wasn't really a uniform, just a skimpy outfit. However, I didn't like wearing that crap, so I wore leggings under my black dress. Avian was a college student who also worked two jobs. We still didn't earn a whole lot of money. So, I got a job. At a night club. In all honesty, I despised my job. The inappropriate and lustful comments I heard didn't make it any better. Luckily, there was a rule at the club that if a man or woman was sexually harassing us, they would be kicked out.
"What can I get for you," I leaned on the bar counter (I have no idea what's in a night club), smiling at the men in front of me. They ordered their drinks. Once I handed the beverages to them, they left. Except for one guy.
"So, hot stuff, you free anytime soon," the man flirted. I sighed.
"No, and I'm not looking for a relationship," I retorted. So maybe that was a lie. But nobody knew, so whatever.
"I can be your boyfriend-"
"I have a girlfriend," I snapped, thoughts drifting to Ella. It wasn't true, but we flirted with each other on a daily basis. We've kissed each other's cheeks, but nothing more than that.
"You're going to hell, then," the man snarled. I whirled around and slammed a shot glass on the counter, leaning in.
"You are a dirty lying homophobe, I can tell," I growled. "At this club, we welcome people of all sexualities. And if you are rude about it, you can leave."
He seemed shocked. I returned to wiping the cups. The guy left soon. I followed suit since my shift was over.
I dropped my bag on the floor and flopped on the bed. I was so tired. Groaning, I got up and readied myself for bed. Sometimes it felt like doing my bed routine took forever. That was the type of night I was having.
My phone rang. With a sigh, I picked it up. Ella had called. She sounded like she was crying.
"What's wrong, baby," I said, concerned for her. More sobs could be heard on the other line.
"Justin and I h-had a f-fight. I t-think he's m-mad at me," she stammered. I pursed my lips.
"I'll be over in a few," I climbed into the car, turning it on and pulling out of the driveway.
"O-okay."

"Ella, it's not your fault," I stroked her hair, my arms wrapped around her. She sniffed.
"I don't want him to be mad at me, N/n," she whispered, holding onto me tightly.
"He isn't. I'll talk to him, Ellie," I assured her, rubbing her back. She stared at me.
"You would really do that?"
"Of course, Ella, I love you," I murmured, kissing her temple. She smiled. " I should head back home."
She turned red and led me to her bed.
"Stay."
"Hey."
"Hey. Please, N/n? Just for cuddles?" Ella begged. I sighed and lay down next to her. She snuggled against my chest.
"Night, Ellie."
"Good night, N/n." And we were out like a light bulb. I
