Ella
(Bet you weren't expecting that)
I sighed as I watched Justin finish his homework. He was such a loving, sweet guy. Yet he always seemed distracted. I often caught him staring at Y/n with a guilty look.
"You okay, babe?" Justin checked on me because he was that sweet. I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah," I murmured, pressing my lips to his. He smiled into the kiss and pulled me closer.
"I gotta go, babe. See you tomorrow," Justin kissed my temple and headed to his house.
I sighed again once he was gone. Justin wasn't my soulmate. I knew that for sure. The words on my arm didn't match the ones on his skin, and they weren't gold. But I just loved him so much. However, I knew I was keeping his soulmate from him. I just... I just wanted this love to last. I know I shouldn't... but I can't help it. Ugh, screw love.

Y/n
"Oh, hey, Justin," I waved at him, my heart aching. I was going to the nearest shop to buy a nice outfit for the audition. Yes, I do have other nice clothes, but Avian was pushing for something fancy. I still needed to be capable of dancing in it for the audition.
"Hi, N/n," he scratched the back of his neck. I knew mine had a venous black mark marring it.

Justin
Y/n's e/c eyes lit up. I smiled to myself, she was such a quirky, kind, smart, and funny person.
"I was heading to the store to buy a nice outfit, can you help?" she asked. I blushed a little and nodded. Y/f/n beamed and grabbed my hand, dragging me along with her. I didn't resist.
"I didn't know you liked theater," she commented randomly. I blushed yet again.
"Not really. Ella just wanted to do it, and she begged me to join her. So, I did. ANd, yeah, I guess," I shrugged, noticing her saddened expression.
"How's your relationship with Ella going," her voice was soft and gentle, but it also seemed as though it was about to break.
"It's good," I mumbled awkwardly, rubbing the back of my head. She nodded. The rest of the walk was spent in silence. "Hey, are you going to that party on Saturday?"
"Oh, yeah. My brother isn't super happy, but whatever. Besides, I'm not into drinking, smoking, or doing drugs," Y/n said perkily, changing the serious mood to a light hearted one. "What about you?"
"I'll be there," I confirmed. We entered the store and walked to the women's section. Y/n and I separated, looking at the different dresses. After looking for a while, I found a navy blue dress that would be easy to move in. (And complimented her body.)
"Hey, N/n, I found something," I called her over and presented the dress. Her eyes widened in happiness and she flung her arms around me.
"It's so beautiful, thank you, Justin!" Y/n squealed, pressing her lips on my cheek. My face heated up, but I smiled.
"No problem," she paid for the dress, and I decided to walk her home. I dropped her off at her house.
"Bye, N/n, see you tomorrow," I smiled and gave her a small wave.
"Thanks and bye, Justin," she kissed my cheek again and went inside. I stood outside her house, a blushing mess while smiling like an idiot.

Y/n
I stepped into the room, taking a deep breath and letting my fake smile fade. Sighing, I hang the dress up and sit on my bed, head in hands. You can do this, N/n, I reminded myself, exhaling deeply.
"I can wait out the storm. I can find the eye of the hurricane," I tried convincing myself as I lay in bed, waiting for sleep to capture me. But I wasn't so sure.

Sorry it's short. Next week, I'll be at a camp. I can't bring my tablet, so no updates. When I get back, hopefully there'll be lots of updates. Bye, loves!
