Y/n
"Hello?" It was Thanksgiving and Avian and Scarlett were in the kitchen cooking. I had gone to answer the door, only to find a very pleasant surprise.
"Hi, N/n, happy thanksgiving, love," Frances Laurens smiled. My eyes widened in excitement.
"Franny!" I squealed, pulling her into a tight hug. She laughed once we separated and I noticed her father, John Laurens, standing behind her. "Hi, Mr. Laurens."
"Hi, Y/n, enjoy living in Florida so far," he greeted with a warm smile. I nodded my head rapidly and invited them into the house. Ella would be coming over soon for a sleepover since her dad wasn't in town.
"Av, the Laurens are here," I announced.
"Wait, really?" his head peeked out from behind the wall and he waved hastily at our guests. " Hey, John, Frances. Right on time, dinner'll be ready in ten."
"Hey, Ella," I opened the door again, Frances behind me. Next to Ella was a short black haired girl with lavender eyes.
"Hi, Y/n, this is my cousin, Mary. She came all the way from London. Who's that," Ella asked, gesturing to Frances.
"Ella, Mary, this is Frances, Frances, Mary and Ella. Mary, I'm Y/n," I made the introductions and watched cheerfully as my friends greeted each other.
"Oh, is it okay if Mary stays over night too?" Ella asked as she stepped into the house.
"Yup," I turned to Frances. "We're having a sleepover, do you wanna stay for it?"
"Sure," Frances agreed. The four of us went into the backyard.
"Franny, catch," I yelled, throwing a football at her. Frances whirled around and barely caught it. We all laughed. "Okay, teams are Frances and Ella and I'll partner with Mary. Go!"
Frances had the football. I charged towards her and jumped on her back before yanking the ball from her hands. We fell on the ground laughing until Ella snatched the football from me.
"Mary, get her," I laughed, untangling my limbs from Frances'.
"Aye, aye, cap'n," Mary joked, chasing after her cousin. The small girl grabbed onto Ella's leg, sending both of them down.
"Uh," I looked up and saw Avian standing at the door. "Are y'all okay?"
"Yup. Dinner time," I guessed, helping Frances up.
"Mhm," we followed my dad into the dining room. Fourteen fresh baked orange marmalade stuffed pork chops (we were never a family for tradition) lay on a platter. Fruit salad and green bean casserole accompanied the main dish. Avian gave thanks and we dug into the food.
"Mm, this is so good," I mumbled. My friends nodded or sighed in agreement. The adults chattered about boring adult stuff while we tried to think of stuff to do for the sleepover.
"Truth or dare," Frances smirked. Mary's face lit up while Ella and I paled.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, and no!" I exclaimed rapidly. Frances laughed.
"Well, Mary, Ella, and I are the guests. And it's two to one, so truth or dare is on," Frances declared. I sighed in defeat. Tonight was going to be... interesting."Truth or dare, Fran," it was late at night and we were sitting in my room talking. So far, Frances had done dare every single time, so I was surprised when she said,
"Truth."
"Are you and Anya still together," I asked innocently. Frances shook her head.
"Nope, was cheating on me with some guy," she grumbled. I frowned.
"That's awful," Mary mumbled, scooting closer to Frances and hugging her.
"I'll be fine, love," she replied, smiling lovingly at Mary. Ella and I grinned at each other. " Ella, truth or dare."
"Dare," Ella decided confidently. Oh no.
"I dare you to kiss Y/n," Frances said smugly.
"What?!" Ella shouted.
"Abort mission, abort mission!" I yelled.
"Is everything alright?" Mr. Laurens, who was staying in the guest room, asked, opening the door carefully.
"Yup," Mary answered, grinning at me.
"Okay then," Mr. Laurens closed the door and left.
"Do it, do it," Mary and Frances chanted quietly.
"I hate you," Ella grumbled, crawling towards me. " Are you okay with this?"
"Just peachy," I said sarcastically. She smiled before pecking my lips.
"Mary, truth or dare," Ella looked ready for revenge.
"Dare," Mary had no idea what she was getting herself into.
"Kiss Frances. On the lips," Ella gave her cousin a sh*t eating grin.
Mary shrugged and gently pressed her lips against Fran's. The words on their arms lit up gold and Ella and I squealed.
"Hi, soulmate," Frances said softly, smiling at Mary.
"Hi," they kissed again. Ella could not control herself. She jumped around the room fangirling.
"No pda-" I was cut off by Ella kissing me deeply.
"Sorry," she apologized sheepishly. Meanwhile, Frances and Mary were still going at it. Nothing sexual, just soft kisses and pecks on the face.
"Ooookaaay, everybody should probably get to bed," I said, dragging the girls to separate corners of the room. "If I find anybody sleeping with each other, I will never give you a hug again. You hear that?"
"Yes, Mom," Frances teased. Ella giggled, still excited from all of today's action. Mary was fast asleep.
"Night."Here's the update, y'all. I'm also working on some original content, so I still might not update a whole lot. And I'm lazy. So... yeah.
