I wanted to tell him everything. I wanted to tell him that the next few events that were going to occur in my life were nothing but an act- but I knew I couldn't.
Me: yeah everything's fine! why? :)
I went home and quickly ran upstairs. I opened my laptop and googled Nick Robinson in order to do some research.
Let's see what you're all about.
The first thing I looked at was his height because we had to be a believable couple- I wouldn't date someone shorter than I was. He was 6'0" so he passed that test.
I looked into his acting credits and even watched a couple of his interviews.
I knew I couldn't make different assumptions about him solely based on his professional career, but a little research did not hurt. Overall, he seemed like a genuine guy.
I logged on to twitter and scrolled carelessly through my feed. Another message from Otis:
otisslayer17: Are you sure? Something was just-off today.
Me: Everything's fine Otis! No worries :)
He was right. Things were off today, and it was only going to get weirder from here. I closed my laptop, lay in my bed to think-my mind wandered as it began to clutter with different thoughts.
I mostly felt terrible for Otis because he was indirectly involved without even asking for it. I really should have listened to Camille about making friends with people at school, not for the sake of myself but for the sake of Otis.
Amy: Tomorrow at 4 pm, my office. Look cute, ur meeting Nick.
