Hey loves, so there is a bit of a time skip, not super long just one year, it is now 1984 and Rosalie is 14. Enjoy!
Rosalie P.O.V
Oh my god, I thought as i looked at my neck, jake did a number, how the hell was I going to hide this? Jake and I had indeed met up at his dads show, and we got, well carried away. We didn't have sex, we just made out, a lot. The worst part is I was not thinking when I left and put on a v-cut shirt, now my dad would for sure notice it. There was a knock on the bathroom door, "Rosalie? Are you ok?" It was Jake, I walked out of the bathroom, "oh damn, I didn't know it was that bad," he looked guilty, I kissed him again. "It was worth it." He smiled, but then it went away, "what are we doing Rosalie?" He asked and my smile faded, "what do you mean," I asked confused. Jake sighed, "I thought we agreed this wouldn't work?" I frowned, "that was a long time ago darling," I put my hand on his chest but he took it off, "We can't do this again," I got upset, why was this so unfair, "it was your idea Jake." I said getting annoyed, "I know, god why didn't you stop me." I couldn't believe my ears, "don't blame me for your hormones," I said harshly. "Why are you being rude about this?" He said raising his voice. "We're not kids anymore Jake, why can't you accept that," we were yelling so loud that I could barely hear the knock on the door. I held my hand up and Jake went silent just as the door opened and Jim walked in. My face turned bright red and Jim's eyes looked like they were about to pop out of his head. I looked down embarrassed and walked out passed Jim. Jake called me but I ignored him. Jim followed me and grabbed my arm, "nice try, your father is worried sick about you Rosalie," I huffed, "How did you find me?" I asked trying to pull out of his grip but he wouldn't budge. "Rosalie Mercury and Jake Joel go into a room together and you think no one would notice? Your lucky I answered the phone and not your Dad or he would have made a scene and no doubt embarrassed you." Jim walked me outside and put me in the car. "I'm already embarrassed," I said quietly, and Jim chuckled, "oh that was nothing dear, I can assure you." Jim looked at me and frowned. "Your dad is not going to be happy with your- erm" he motioned his neck and I raised my eyebrows. "I'm sure he won't be to thrilled will he, nothing I can do about it now." I crossed my arms and looked out the window, "Rosalie do you even care that your father hasn't gotten an ounce of sleep, because of you?" I took a deep breath, "No not really," Jim took my hand and I looked at him, "I know he seems very busy, but he does love you Rosalie" I scoffed. "Yeah ok," I said sarcastically, Freddie had just taken a solo deal, splitting up queen in the process, he was paid four billion dollars for it which enraged me that he took the deal. Since then he has been working night and day, not stopping, he has no time for me, Jim has been more of a father to me then he has recently. And the people he brings over remind me of Paul, I thought that chapter was done in my life, but it turns out it was only beginning. "I'm being serious Rosalie," Jim said, "he could never stop loving you, your his daughter, his family," he squeezed my hand, "For the right price he will." I said before I could stop myself, "What did you say young lady?" I turned to look at him sharply, "Four billion dollars Jim! Four billion and he left Queen, who I remember him calling his family, how much money for him to leave me?! How do I know that he won't ship me off somewhere when someone comes with a larger amount of money that takes even more of his time to the point where I become a burden. Then he will leave me like he left Queen. I mean when is it going to be enough for him? How much more money before he realizes that's not everything in life?" My eyes were watering, I had been keeping that in for a while, I quickly dried my eyes, I was not going to cry over him. "Rosalie, I-I'm at a loss for words right now." I turned my head back to the window, "then don't say anything." Jim sighed and I realized I had no idea where we were. "Jim where are we going?" I asked and Jim seemed to click, "Oh we're going to the studio, your father is working," I could tell he knew how bad that sounded especially considering our topic of conversation, he cleared his throat uncomfortably. We got to the studio Jim lead the way, I could here Freddie from the hallway, "it sounds like shit!" He was saying. I sighed, "do it again." Jim and I got to the door, he gave me a reassuring smile. The music started up again, and we walked in, Freddie saw me and his eyes turned dangerous, they turned even more dangerous when he saw my love marks. Freddie pointed to the sofa in the back, "Sit," He said as if he was about to explode. I did as he asked but with as much sass as I had. Freddie tightened his fist and went back to his song, Mr. Bad Guy, it was a good song and it sounded good, Freddie just didn't seem to think so. He was in a sour mood, I suppose that was mostly my fault, I didn't feel bad for him, although I did feel bad for the people he hired, they had to be on the receiving end of it. I was getting really tired of the song because Freddie kept going back and back and back over and over again. Jim stood at the side watching Freddie work. Finally Freddie sat back satisfied with that little part of the song, I was sure I hated that part now, "Take a break, we will start back up again in a half an hour," Freddie took a drag of his cigarette then put it out looking at me, "come with me." He said shortly, I rolled my eyes and followed him, Jim gave me a small smile but I wasn't in the mood to return it. I followed Freddie out and walked down the hallway with him, Sid Vicious from Sex Pistols was in the hallway and he asked Freddie, "have you succeeded in getting the ballet to the masses yet?" Freddie didn't seem bothered by this and he said, "Simon Ferocious was it?" That did not make Sid happy and Freddie could tell, "What are you gonna do about it?" He asked and when Sid didn't say anything, Freddie grabbed my hand and led me past him but not before Sex Pistols peeked their heads out and started whistling. I looked back and Sid was smiling, Ew. Freddie took me outside behind the building. He towered over me folding his arms, he indeed was not happy. "So, you seemed to have had quite a night," I knew what he thought I did even if I didn't I couldn't deny that it's what it looked like. "Not in the way you think," I replied coolly, and Freddie lifted an
eyebrow, "Oh so you got those hickeys from what, a dog?" I rolled my eyes at his comment, "Oh no a boy gave them to me, I just didn't have sex with him." Freddie looked slightly relieved but not by much, "Do you have any idea how worried I was about you? You sneak out, stay out all night and don't even call so I at least know your ok, I didn't know if you were hurt or if someone had taken you," Freddie lifted up my chin, "I didn't know if I would see your beautiful eyes again." I knew Freddie was being extremely nicer than I deserved, but I was so upset with him lately that I just couldn't contain it. "Well just look in the mirror Freddie, they're the same eyes you have." I knew I was going to get under his skin with that one, and I was right. "That was very low of you Rosalie, you do not ever call me by my first name, do you understand me?" I didn't say anything, I just continued to glare, "do you understand me Rosalie Jer?" He said more seriously. "Yes." I said in between clenched teeth, "Good. Now who did that to you?" He asked pointing to my neck, "A boy," I replied shortly. Freddie rolled his eyes dramatically. "No shit Rosalie, what's his name," I hummed, "I don't think I'll tell you." I said, I was toying with him and he knew that, "oh really, well I have an idea of who it might be, but it would be quite embarrassing if I were to call them and it wasn't them, now wouldn't it?" I scoffed, "and who is your idea?" I said sassily, Freddie thought to himself, "well let's see, there is only one boy you really talk to and I recall his father being on tour so I'm going to give a wild guess and say Jake Joel, how did I do?" I tried to hide my surprise, but apparently I didn't do a good job of that because Freddie eyed me before saying, "That's What I thought, well I'm sure Billy would be very interested to know about this," I gasped, "you wouldn't dare!" I exclaimed, and Freddie chuckled "Oh I would," I huffed, "I hate you," I said and immediately regretted it after. Freddie's face dropped for a split second before he regained his composure, "That's fine," he said, "oh and by the way Rosalie, your grounded for the next two weeks, which is a shame because we are going to Italy this week." Of course we were it was just like Freddie to make last minute trips like that. "What about your precious album?" I asked snappishly, "Oh don't be mistaken darling I will be working there. And you get to join me." I was boiling. Perfect. 'At least you get to spend more time with him' I thought then I could have kicked myself. He was enjoying this and it pissed me off, "Is that all?" I asked wanting to leave more than anything, "not entirely, I have a problem with your attitude lately. I would suggest watching your mouth from now on." I squeezed my arms across my chest, "Or what you'll wash it out?" I said before I realized how stupid it was. "What a wonderful idea Rosalie, I will be sure to do that from now on," I cursed under my breath. "Now is that all?" I asked and Freddie nodded, "yes you can go back in now." I wasted no time I walked back in my fingernails were digging into my arms. I walked past Sex Pistols recording studio and they all popped their heads out saying the dirtiest things I have ever heard. I ignored them and walked back into the recording studio. Everyone seemed to be finishing their break, I sat down on the sofa and Jim caught my eye, "are you ok?" He mourned time and I nodded, Freddie came in a few minutes later and he looked as if he had been upset. I figured it was because I had gotten under his skin which made me a little satisfied.*that night*
I realized with Horror why Freddie had been upset, I had told him I hated him, and I never apologized, no matter how much of a dick Freddie was being I still loved him, whether I liked it or not, I got out of my bed and ran to Freddie's room, Jim was on the bed reading a book, "What do you need Rosalie?" I looked around the room but I couldn't see Freddie, "Where's Papa?" I asked, just then Freddie came out of his bathroom in his boxers, I shook the shock out of my head when he said, "Betee what's going on?" I was panting and I didn't know why, "Papa I need to talk to you," Freddie looked concerned, "come here love," he said and I walked towards him. Freddie sat in his bed and I sat next to him. I looked at Jim and he got the hint, Jim got up and left saying something about getting coffee, "Papa earlier I told you that I hated you," Freddie's eyes immediately showed realization, "I don't hate you Papa, I could never hate you and I'm so sorry I said that I was just mad," Freddie pulled my hair out of my face, "sshh Betee it's alright, you were upset I understand." I sighed in relief putting my head in my hands. "Oh god I'm sorry, about everything, I just haven't seen you in so long so I was being so rude." Freddie put his finger to my lips, "it's ok my dear, I forgive you," Freddie kissed my cheek and gave me a hug, "it's late, why don't you go to sleep?" I nodded, "yes papa," with another kiss I stood up and walked to my bedroom. Breathing a sigh of relief I sunk into my bed and slept not wanting to think about the upcoming trip to Italy coming up.
