Rosalie P.O.V
"Rio?" Freddie asked from the phone. I looked up from sipping my tea, and glanced at Jim to see his reaction, however he wasn't paying attention, he was too busy making mince pie and humming along to the Christmas tunes on the radio. "When?" Freddie said and I watched as his eyebrows went up. "That soon?" There was a pause, "no I'll work it out, bye Pheobe." Freddie hung up the phone. "We're going to Rio." This time Jim looked up, "when," he asked, Freddie looked uncomfortable, "2 months?" Jim's face dropped. "That soon, Freddie that means the press are going to be all over you during Christmas season, all the interviews, and the paparazzi," Freddie looked at me, "darling, can you give us a moment," I nodded and left the kitchen, however I didn't want to leave the conversation so I quietly grabbed a glass cup from a case in the dining room and placed it against the kitchen door, "that's the price we have to pay, you know this." I heard Freddie say, "Freddie if the reporters get their hands on Rosalie again-" Jim said in a low tone. "They won't. I'm going to have her take a body guard everywhere she goes." I sighed, great that meant I had no freedom. I saw a shadow come up on the door, I turned around to see Pheobe giving me a stern look. He held out his hand and sighing I gave him the cup. "Keep your ears to yourself little lady." He said sending me out of the dining room with a stinging smack. Bored out of my mind I attempted to entertain myself by flipping through the channels, when suddenly I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and to my joy I saw Billy, he smiled at me, "hey princess," he stated as I jumped on him. "I've missed you," I said in his neck and I heard him chuckle, "I've missed you too," he wrapped his arms around me and squeezed, but something was off, it seemed like he was upset. I leaned back to look at him, "are you ok?" I asked quietly. Billy had a rim of tears in his eyes and I pulled him back into a hug. I could feel his hot tears on my shirt even though he hardly made any noise. I didn't even realize the door wide open, Romeo rubbed against mine and Billy's legs intertwining himself in between them. I pulled back again and put my hands through his hair, "what happened?" I asked quietly. Billy shut the door. "It's my moms death anniversary, Jesus, it happened so long ago I thought I'd be over it by now." I pulled him over to the couch and sat down, "you don't have to answer this, but how did she die?" Billy sighed and wiped away his tears taking my hand and holding it to his lips. Eventually he sniffed and squeezed my hand with both of his. "I was 10, it was my mom and dads anniversary, they went to this restaurant and my dad had been drinking, I guess he didn't think it was a big deal because he drove home." Billy seemed very interested in his ring that I was wearing, "He ran a red light, and a semi truck rammed into them, it hit on my moms side of the car." Billy closed his eyes for a moment before continuing. "Ever wonder why my Dad doesn't stop me when I smoke or drink in front of him?" Realization dawned on me, he felt bad, that's why he didn't stop Billy, because Bob did it too, and it got Billy's mother killed. Billy looked like he was thinking, "the bastard didn't even go to prison." He said more to himself then me. "It was labeled as accidental." Billy was squeezing my hand so hard I thought it would fall off. I didn't mind though, I couldn't imagine what I would do if Freddie died. I put my free hand on Billy's face and he kissed it, "I love you princess," he said quietly, "I love you too, stud." I leaned into him and he put his arm around me pulling me to his chest, his other arm still had my hand, and as he rubbed his finger against my arm I could tell his mind was elsewhere."Do you have any hobbies?" The interviewer asked, Freddie took a drag of his cigarette, "I don't have time for-" Freddie stopped looking at Jim with the form of a smile collecting in his face, before he said, "yeah a lot of sex," my mouth dropped and Jim was blushing profoundly, "damn it Freddie," I heard him mutter under his breath. I tried hard not to laugh so that I wouldn't interrupt the interview, shaking my head I walked to the back where I saw Billy sitting on the couch talking to Josephine. I walked up to both of them and Billy grabbed me by my hips pulling me down on his lap, "I see you've met Josephine," I said and she smiled, "yeah," billy stated, "it's not my first time, I met her when Brian first started teaching me guitar." He slipped his hand around my waist as if I were a toddler who was trying to escape a lap. "He's really good," Josephine stated, and I nodded, "I was just telling her about one of my buddies, I think they would dig each other," Billy said, I looked at him curiously, "who?" Before Billy had the chance to answer Brian came into the room, "Josephine, I told you to stay where I could see you," she smiled sheepishly, "sorry, I got bored" Brian looked at her sternly, "makes no difference, come on, you're not leaving my sight for the rest of the day," Josephine sighed and got up rolling her eyes, I gave her a sympathetic smile as she left the room with Brian. Billy kissed my neck, and I squealed and jumped off his lap, next to him on the couch. "Are you coming to Rio with us?" Billy nodded, "Freddie invited us, guess he knew I wouldn't be able to go without you that long." I laughed as he placed a kiss on my lips. Jim walked in the room then. "what are you two doing?" He asked and Billy immediately stopped kissing me and sat up. I burst into laughter, and Jim lifted his eyebrow. Billy's face was stone cold and I couldn't help but laugh harder at that fact, "nothing," I finally choked out, Jim looked like he didn't believe me, but he didn't say anything, I could have sworn he had the slightest form of a smile on his face.
I woke up in a hospital bed, the faint sound of the heart monitor, I sat up, I could see that I had a broken leg and I was scratched up but I didn't feel any pain. I thought that was odd but I just assumed that I was in pain medication. A nurse came in and noticed I was awake, "hello dear," she said kindly filling up a glass with water. "What happened," I asked quietly, the nurses expression darkened. "You were in an accident, you were the only survivor," my heart stopped in my chest, "who was there?" I choked out, she looked at me dead in the eyes, "everyone" suddenly out of nowhere I saw a blinding light and the sound of a horn honking.
I woke up screaming, Delilah, who was sleeping with me, jumped off the bed in fear. I looked around breathing hard, tears were running down my face, The door burst open Freddie was on the bed in an instant pulling me into his chest. "Shh," he said quietly, "it was just a dream," I held onto him with tears still streaming down my face. I wasn't breathing right, and Freddie noticed, "breathe baby," he told me stroking my hair, I could see Jim through his arms, he was in the door way with a concerned look on his face. I was shaking bad, "it's ok Betee," he said soothingly, "I've got you." The tears slowly stopped and my breathing was going back to normal, I just sat in my fathers arms, eyes closed, breathing in his scent and listening to his heart beat. His chin was resting on my head, and he was rubbing my back soothingly. Jim sat on the bed and sighed, "it's midnight," he noticed nonchalantly, Freddie looked over at my clock, "extremely late," he muttered, I held onto him tighter, "do you want to sleep with us?" Freddie asked me quietly and I nodded. "Alright, come on Betee," Freddie picked me up bridal style and carried me to his room, about four of our cats were sprawled on the covers, Freddie placed me under the covers and got in with me. He pulled me close to his chest, and I closed my eyes feeling safe. I was half asleep when suddenly I heard Jim speak, "your a wonderful father Freddie," Freddie hummed, "thank you Jim, I try to be, you know when Mary first told me she was pregnant I was terrified, I didn't know how I was going to be a father, but it's all worth it, I wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't have her." Freddie kissed my head. "She is a spitting image of you, only thing she has of Mary's are her hands, which I must admit is a weird thing to inherit" Freddie giggled, "I know, Mary was livid," he continued laughing, "you should have seen her face when she saw Rosalie last, she couldn't believe that's all Rosalie inherited from her." Jim chuckled, "I love you Freddie, and Rosalie too, more then you know," I felt Freddie move over and kiss him. "We love you too, more than you know,"........
