Written by Jaune, to Pyrrha.
I raise my shield up, as I prepare to strike;
You taught me that on our first day.
"Keep your grip tight -
Don't forget to keep your front foot forward."
You said, in your own special way.
Now I swing, and I slice, while inside I fight,
Remembering your scent with each breath that I take;
Every night yet I train, then I sit and I sob,
I grieve and I mourn and I shake.
I was so wrapped up, so hopelessly blind,
So afraid, so lost, so nearsighted;
Until you came along, so selfless and kind,
And our love, with one kiss, ignited.
Then you pushed me into, what now feels like a coffin;
Why Love? I would have given my life!
If I had only been stronger; Our song many lines longer!
I know one day I would have called you my w...
Now that's all ever-after; my unforgivable chapter;
Our fairy tale with an unhappy end.
As my hope was shaken, from nightmare unawakened,
Replaying again and again...
But this tome isn't finished; I simply will not abide,
As darkness and hatred succeeds.
While your ashes have scattered, I still hold what matters;
I move forward with your memories.
I take your strength as my own, determination unbound,
I gird myself with your bravery;
I see this world with your eyes, tie your sash at my side,
Your soul is the air I now breath.
Gods please grant my request-- a deep twilight escape,
To reunite with her in my dreams;
So we may kiss once again, our lips never to part;
In her embrace, forever-lasting reveries...
