Written by Ruby, to Penny
Through many miles,
the blood and the tears,
through battle and fatigue,
through uncertainty and fear...I never thought I would smile,
upon sight of your face again,
Tis' fate's tricky way,
of delivering,
the hope it wishes to send. Now torn within myself,
split upon death and life,
your last breath I remember,
the fragment and the knife...The joy destroyed,
scattered and lost,
a future unable to be,
has somehow found its path,
and made its way back to me!A flying embrace - Salutations!
My heart, it overflows!
A thousand questions,
With answers very few know...Same green eyes, same strong smile,
but grown... and known and now!
It's been so long,
I thought you were gone!
Before me you stand somehow! They tell me a machine is all you are,
devoid of flesh and choice,
but still I feel, and still I hear,
A very human voice...And though I know what's inside of you,
are workings of wire and steel,
deep in my heart,
what makes you human,
is how you make me feel.
