Written by Yang, to Raven.
Somehow I've grown and I've changed;
Somehow I've overcome, rearranged.
Even though we've long been estranged,
What needs done is exactly what I do.
Somewhere you sit and you fume;
Somewhere I'm alone in my room,
A sense of loss over my mind looms,
Many questions exist there too.
Why care you not of my plight?
Are you merely disgusted by my sight?
My mother, my shadow to my light,
My screams many, the answers, too few.
Your own problems, were they too many,
To give me a chance, if any?
And prevent my heart from feeling so heavy;
What we could have been, not even in view.
Part dragon, part woman still burning,
Through anger, learned wisdom discerning,
Now machine, part of me interning,
And yet still... I'm more human than you.
