Written by Jaune, to Pyrrha.
I have followed a leaf to agony,
the wind to a cold silhouette;
not knowing what exactly to do,
or how to do it yet.
I have stared at the face of destiny,
and heard it's silent call,
my season of mourning's crimson moon
brightly wanes on forever fall.
Can leaves become unscattered
to show the fullness of the tree?
Can decisions turn undecided,
if time bends it's will to me?
Can I really act like going backwards
is even a valid choice?
As reality breaks my thoughts
using words of a familiar voice...
Your kiss lightly given is one change I wouldn't make.
Can a duty be unplaced?
For your place, I would take.
Could love be undiscovered?
For I haven't finished finding,
having barely touched
the edges of your aura,
when our world began unwinding.
I would never un-feel your lips on mine,
I would never un-know your name;
I couldn't un-live the you in my life,
and still remain the same;
I can't keep drowning in my puddle of doubt
while reality floods with sorrows;
I can't re-live our yesterdays
while neglecting their tomorrows.
You made the choice when there was none,
and did what no one else would do,
for the Pyrrha we knew we lost that night,
was a huntress through and through.
