Written by Qrow, to STRQ.
If I could See you, one more time, what would I say?
Brightest of lights; warmest of nights; longest of days.
Your precious rose left behind; a lone jewel much too soon...
But this I promise you: she will never come to ruin.
I know that, my actions haven't, always earned your Trust;
You've tired of hearing, my semblence blamed, and of its shitty luck.
It couldn't have been easy, to experience such loss but twice;
Just know that i am here, and i stand with you in this fight.
I ask but please to fold your wings of divisive enmity;
My dear corvus, don't you Remember, what we used to be?
Sheath your sword; and may its edge our blood not starkly sever;
Why can't you see, your daughter, needs you now more than ever?
We could have won; could have been; could have saved;
Could have lived; could be loved; could have stayed.
Tears prevented; death avoided; yet failed by our own hands.
Sometimes I wish, to keep flying... never Quite to land,
Maybe with, some liquid wisdom, I can try to understand...
