Written by Blake, to Adam.

In you I found my hope, in you I placed my dreams,

In you was where I wrote, my chapters to redeem.

In you I thought I found, yet saddened by your surprise,

As you changed from love to spite, before my very eyes.

My belief was taken and wasted, my sorrows were reborn,

The story of our race, its pages re-burnt; re-torn.

Forced to deal with reality; a new, sour kind of grief,

Forced to abandon my path, from agreement to disbelief.

Now I hide my hearing, wherever I may go;

Now my eyes are tearing, as I tie this bow;

Now my heart is fearing, should anybody know;

Friends please don't be nearing, the equation of Faunas with Foe.

My life, composed of beginnings, whose ends have faded away,

Much like the shadows I leave, while struggling in vain;

I must continue to sever ties, to leave you on this train;

If I am ever again to find myself, my own truth I must obtain.

I cannot be an island; I cannot stand alone;

I cannot run from everything, I've ever claimed to own..

In night I cannot hide forever, and with these seeds I've sewn,

By guiding light of closest star, I've finally found my home.
