"Aren't you all high and mighty," Ty remarked even as his hair was gripped tightly and his head was pulled back. One eye was closed shut while the other glared up at the man who was Lucas' father.
"We'll see how that mouth of yours continues to sprout out insolence when I'm through with you."
Ty grinned, his voice laughing at the man as he retorted, "Can't wait."
"Ty!" Lucas yelled, struggling against the men who held him. This time though, he ignored the Vampire, not sparing him another glance. After all, he was still fairly angry with his boyfriend. If they were even together. Maybe it'd been a one sided deal the entire time and Ty had been too blinded to see it. Well, whatever. He wasn't really one to give up so easily, though.
His hair was released and he dropped back down to his kneeling position in the middle of the circle. The man before him had long hair, much like his sons and in the same color as well. The only difference was his age and facial hair, a bit of a goatee on his chin and very light side burns. Cahastile lifted his hands and closed his eyes.
The magic circle beneath Ty swirled and he felt pressure beginning to build against his body. He grit his teeth as he sat there, trying to combat the pressure that was building with his own magic. It was failing, though. In the next second, the circle erupted and crackled powerful magic all along his frame.
Ty let out a shout of pain as the arcs of magic worked across his body. The power was something that he'd not felt before. His body shook from the overwhelming amount of power that flooded him. It was hard to breathe as well and he struggled to get his body under his own control. Drezair was fighting too, putting everything he had against the spell.
"What the hell..." Ty thought to his counterpart.
The demon forced his magic through the human's body causing a bit more unpleasantness than before, "He's trying to draw me forth."
"The hell... he can do that?"
"Yes. It's an old spell. Like... an exorcism if you wish."
"What the hell for? Damn it... hurts..."
"Bear with it a little longer, it's all I can do to keep him from succeeding. I think we'll find out the reason in a moment."
It seemed like forever, but eventually the spell ceased suddenly and Ty fell forward, his chest heaving as he could breathe once again. His hands, that were kept together by some spell, took his weight on his fingers as he doubled over. Across the room, Lucas had started yelling again. Though, during his little bout with the magic, he hadn't heard what the boy had said.
"He's not a demon! Father! You're not listening to me!"
Oh, that's what he's on about... how adorable, Ty thought to himself with a grin.
"What makes you so certain he's a human? He may look like one right now, but I assure you. I saw his true form earlier," Cahastile frowned at his son, then ran a hand through his hair, "It's his poison. The blood that you've already drunk from him is clouding your mind, my son."
"That's a lie! Let him go! He's not a demon!"
"I'll prove that you're wrong in just a moment," the man muttered and turned back to Ty who had lifted himself up and grinned at the man. Cahastile glowered at him and raised his hands a second time.
"Stop!"
The pressure built a second time and Drezair was prepared for it. He fought back, with less pain to Ty this time, which the boy was very thankful for. Even so, Ty could feel the demon losing to the powerful spell. So this was what the Families were capable of. How interesting. He wondered exactly just how they were so powerful. Certainly no single grimoire could give them such strength.
His teeth ground together as he was shaking and shuddering again against the power. Ty could feel the demon starting to surface even as Drezair struggled to stay in his corner inside the human's body. His teeth began to change, taking the form of fangs, his eye color shifted to the sickly yellow and his ears elongated as well. Cahastile grinned ever so slightly as he eyed Ty carefully.
"See? Didn't I tell you he was a demon?"
Ty huffed as he sat there, still held in the tight grip of the magic circle. He grinned up at the man as Cahastile shifted to look at his son. Lucas had stopped shouting but he was struggling very hard to get free from the people in black.
"Now that you've called him forth, what do you plan to do?" Ty asked, a bit of a growl in his tone.
"Seal you away for the moment. Don't worry, demon. You won't be part of this world for long."
