Lucas flinched as the sound of both demons colliding with each other boomed through the still air. His heart clenched tightly as he tried to see through the settling dust. Worry pulsed through his body though he knew that Ty would be alright. If it was Vahn attacking them, then there was no chance of having Drezair sent back to hell, thus leaving Ty an empty shell again.

Just the thought sent cold chills all over his body.

The Vampire froze for just a moment, feeling the dark emptiness that had once occupied his heart not too long ago. He felt a bitter taste filling the back of his mouth as he stood there, wide eyed. It was almost hard to breathe as he watched Drezair's form topple the other demon. The words that had been said struck him hard, bringing him from his frozen state just enough to realize the fight before him.

For... killing Ty all those years ago? Lucas thought to himself. He couldn't quite grasp what had just happened, especially with what Drezair had said. Did... did that mean Urin had been the cause of Ty's death? The reason for Ty having Drezair in the first place? Was it really Vahn who had killed Ty?

He felt anger pulse from the center of his chest, giving him a terrible sensation as it washed through him. The back of his throat had gone tight, a sour taste there as he clenched his fingers into tight fists. Unable to control his rage, the single thought that ran through his mind was most likely the trigger to the power that expelled from his body.

The dirt from under his feet pushed outwards rapidly in a clockwise circle. The force of it threw up his clothing, making it seem like he was at the epicenter of a tornado. It continued to expand outwards as he clenched his teeth together. The more he thought about it, the more power came into existence. Right then, the grimoires that he'd obtained had all begun to burn. Every ounce of power that he'd gathered together rushed together, melding into one enormous torrent of uncontrolled magic.

He couldn't control it, of course Lucas knew it instantly. The moment that he allowed his power to condense into existence, he knew that he'd lost all control over it. Even so, the Vampire wasn't about to try to stop it. No, he wanted it to rip apart the demon called Urin. So much so that he poured even more fuel into the fire of his uncontrolled rage.

Lucas couldn't see through the dark torrent of wind that whipped around him rapidly. He didn't want to see anyway. All he wanted was to have the Stalker that had killed Ty forty years ago to be dead and gone. It would be a blessing, one less thing to worry about. He imagined the damage he would do, the body being torn apart so easily by his very power.

Whether it actually happened or not, Lucas didn't know for he was too lost in the overwhelming rush of magic to realize anything else. It took him some time to even register that his name was being called over the loud crashing of air that tore apart the dirt beneath him. Even as he recognized the call from Ty, he couldn't stop the power that had gone out of control.

Fear took over, the icy cold clamping down on his heart. I... I can't...Ty... he thought desperately. A hand pushed through the black torrent, it was covered in silvery flames but even the demon's power wasn't quite enough to keep the arm from being cut up. Gasping slightly, Lucas tried to get a hold of the power, his eyes clenching shut with the force of concentration.

When even that didn't work, he stretched out his hand, a terrified look in his eyes, as he reached for the hand that had pushed through his power. The moment his fingers tangled into the others, the demon's magic pulsed through him. At first it was sharp, stinging terribly, but then it calmed and with it the uncontrolled power from all of the grimoires stopped.

Lucas felt his body drop. The energy that had been sucked away from him by the grimoires was immense. He hadn't even realized how much had been taken. Ty was quick to recover him though, pulling him up before he could hit the ground. Panting slightly, he allowed his boyfriend to hold him. There was fear in those tantalizing green eyes as he looked up into the human's face.

"Ty... What happened to... Vahn?"

The dark haired boy shook his head slightly, "I doubt he will survive much longer, love. Drezair had torn a hole in that bastards chest before you attacked... There's not a whole lot left of him... What were you thinking?"

"I... I was just angry about what he'd done to you."

Ty laughed, a genuine smile pulling his lips, "That was so long ago. Why would you be so angry about that?"

"Ty."

Pulling Lucas up into a tight hug, the human sighed in his ear, "Doesn't matter at the moment. Vahn doesn't have much longer and I doubt Kivar's going to do anything to keep him alive. I'd bet more on the fact of his being locked up in hell for failing his task."

"Good riddance..." Lucas muttered.

The human shook his head slightly and pulled away to look at the Vampire directly, "We're going to have to work on this though. That was a lot of power. You scared me... Are you alright?"

Slowly the Vampire nodded his head, "Yes. I'm just exhausted now."

"Let's get back then. You should probably drink too, I'm sure that'll help in gaining more control over all of these grimoires."

Lucas sighed as he allowed Ty to pull him close and lift him up. The dark haired boy started towards the school that was a good half hour walk back. Reaching up, Lucas wrapped his arms around the boy's neck, holding tightly as he nestled his head against the warm shoulder. He was so tired, but happy at the same time. One down... two more to go... he thought to himself as his eyes slowly closed into slumber.
