"How the hell do you know if it's him?" Nameia snapped, lowering her voice as she spotted movement closer to them through the fog.
"His wings. They are unique. Onyx and shiny but feathered. Have you ever seen a demon with such wings like that?" Ember answered as he started towards the demon that looked to be chained down to a pair of large spikes in the marshy ground.
"God don't tell him that. Think he's got an ego now?" the demi-God huffed as she followed after Ember.
Behind her the other two women moved just as quickly. The Fae kept her gaze on the immediate area on their left while Taylial kept hers on the right. It didn't take them long to traverse over the squishy ground beneath their feet. Soon they were close enough to the demon to see the binds that cut into his dark skin.
Turning his head, sickly yellow eyes with slit pupils gazed at each of them. A thin trail of blood went from the corner of his lips down his chin, adding to his already rugged appearance. The demon's lips curved upward into a grin as he released a heavy sigh and let his head fall back.
"How embarrassing. To have to have you all come get me," Drezair laughed, "Makes me look terrible, doesn't it? How is he?"
"Terrible, thanks to you," Nameia snapped.
"Nameia!" Dimiyen said in shock, gripping the demi-God's upper arm tightly.
"Its fine, Dimiyen. No need to lie or sugar coat things for me. I figured as much..." the demon released a heavy sigh, his grin long gone, "It is my fault anyway."
"Damn right it is. I really doubt you're coming back is even going to help Lucas with the state he's in."
"That bad hu?" Drezair breathed as his head fell forward, "I'll do what I can. If you'll allow me."
"You're our only bet right now," Ember stated as he shifted his weight to on leg and put his hand on his hip.
"Why haven't you returned yet?" Dimiyen asked.
Drezair laughed then glanced down at the silvery thin bonds wrapped across his body. Lacerations and blood streaked his large frame from the wrappings, "These aren't exactly easy to break out of. Demon proof and all," he answered with a cocky grin, his yellow gaze settling on her.
"Don't bitch if I burn you," Nameia came forward suddenly and lifted her hand. Without much warning that her earlier comment, her golden fire erupted outwards and engulfed the demon entirely.
When her fire faded away, the demon opened his wings fully and stood straight, freed from the bindings. With a loud sigh of relief, Drezair flexed his hands and smiled at them, "I suggest we hurry back through that gate you created. Nothing says 'come kill me' like a demi-God spouting her magic for all to notice."
"Shut up!"

Stepping through the gate, they returned to the study room that had erupted into a mini battlefield since their departure. Drezair frowned as he exited the gate and entered the room that was filled with demons. Facing the gate, he swiped his hand at it, long nails cutting across the surface and making it look as if he'd ripped up a very large piece of paper.
"We need to hurry, the families will be here soon and with this many demon's loose, who knows what'll happen," Nameia said and took hold of Drezair's upper arm.
"I'll see you guys later," Ember called as his demeanor went into his dangerous mode when presented with a fight. He turned with Taylial right next to him and lunged into the fighting with his parents.
The demi-God didn't respond and continued to run through the double doors and into the hallway. She stopped dead in her tracks however as she came face to face with several figures in black robes. Her hand tightened around Drezair's wrist, but the demon didn't seem to notice. His thoughts were elsewhere, or rather his body was reacting to the contract he'd made with Ty.
"This certainly wasn't what I expected," the voice was familiar to the demon and his gaze focused on the sound just barely as his power was directing him elsewhere.
"Ah, Cahastile," the demon grinned.
The figure in black tilted his head off to the side, silence preceding him for a moment before the Vampire spoke again, "The demon that was taking over the human boy. How interesting. I would love to know how you were separated from him, but seeing as it's happened I really could care less. The question now is, what are you doing?"
"What a pity and here I was hoping you would be interested in knowing all of the details," Drezair mused with sarcasm heavy in his voice, "However, I'm really in a rush and must be going now. I'll be seeing you real soon though, I must repay you for your wonderful hospitality last time. It was so... enjoyable."
The demon pulled his free arm around Dimiyen and his power exploded around the three of them. The rush of energy rocked the hallway, sending hot air forcefully through the tiny hall. Drezair let his power carry them straight to where Ty was, having located the boy's body rather quickly.
"Much better," he said as he released both girls and gazed upon the body of the human he had made a contract with. Stretching out a hand, he touched the ice that encased Ty's form. It cracked, and then shattered like glass. Reaching out with both hands, Drezair felt the contract pulling him in. His form shuddered and began to fade around the edges.
Finally, as he touched Ty's cold body, Drezair melted into the boy. At first nothing happened. Both girls stood silently in the room, holding their breath as they stared at Ty's unmoving frame. Then, his chest rose up and he took a deep breath of air. Brilliant green eyes fluttered open as his wounds began to close.
Sitting up, Ty groaned and pressed a hand to his head, "Damn..."
"Ty!" Nameia yelled.
Turning he grinned at her, "Hey. Sorry I'm late."
