He'd ended up listening to Lucas in the end and found himself sitting at the back of the classroom, bored out of his mind. Fine, I'll go to class, but that doesn't mean I'll pay attention, he thought sourly to himself. This sucks... He flicked his gaze around the room and found it utterly boring. As he sat there, it dawned on him that he hadn't spoken to any of the other students since asking about Lucas a while back.

How long had it been? Several months by his calculations. He gave a soft sigh, it was kind of intriguing to realize that he'd stayed in one spot for so long. Ty knew why though. If it weren't for his hot Vampire, he'd have been long gone some time ago. A grin began to spread on his lips as he rested his head on the palm of his hand.

"If you're smirking so much, Tyrathane, than you must be eager to answer the question given just now," a sharp voice cut through his day dreaming.

He startled, his eyes widening briefly before he slowly turned to regard the teacher that was glaring at him. Ty returned the cold look with a brilliant smile, cocking his head off to the side as he did so, "I think I'll pass."

"Not an option, sorry. Explain this equation to the class," the teacher said, flicking his pointer stick at the very long, very complex equation that was scratched up on the board in black marker.

Ty groaned inwardly, but kept his smile on his face. I hate this... Damnit Lucas... he thought to himself as he frantically tried to come up with an answer.

"Want me to help?"

"Wait a minute, you know this crap, Drezair?" Ty asked his demon counterpart in surprise.

"Of course. I'm not a demon just in name you know. I've studied human's long enough to know a few things."

The teachers face grew paler as Ty recounted everything that Drezair told him, and even grew bright red as a couple of mistakes were pointed out. Ty laughed as he finished, enjoying the look of shock and terror on their teachers face. All the while, he continued to sit with his head propped up against his hand.

"I think he'll leave you alone now," Drezair said, laughing as well, "It's always fun to get those types of reactions. Another reason why I agreed to our contract."

"Mhm?"

"Because, you and I have a lot in common, Tyrathane. Even down to our tastes in lovers."

"Does this mean you're in love with Lucas too?"

"Of course."

Ty sat for a while, his smile gone from his face. The teacher had recovered from his shock and had continued on with the lesson after getting order back from the other students. Once again, Ty tuned out everything around him as he concentrated on the conversation he was having with Drezair. The demon being in love with Lucas didn't really surprise him, he had figured it would have happened. However, having it spelled out to him so bluntly was a bit hard to deal with.

"You're very entertaining. It's not like I can steal him from you, Ty. You and I are essentially the same person. I can never leave you or you will die. You are yourself ninety percent of the time. Does it bother you that much to know that I care for him just as deeply as you do?"

"N-no... I guess I had always figured you would be in love with him. I was just, taken aback is all."

"Ah, I see," Drezair answered and Ty felt as if the demon had grown very tense for that brief moment of explanation, "Would you like to know something else? You may want to hold onto something," the demon laughed.

Ty gave a short laugh, the air bursting from his nose as he closed his eyes and tilted his head against the wall next to him, pretending to sleep, "What is it?"

"I love you as well."

"Hu?"

"It's the truth. Ever since making a contract with you. I've grown particularly fond. Be honored, Ty, it's a rare thing for a demon to become so attached."

"I see. So how would that work?"

Silence met him at first, but then Drezair laughed. The sound was loud as the demon was very amused. It took a while before Ty's other half could answer him properly. Even then, there was laughter in Drezair's voice as he spoke.

"You certainly are interesting. I'm never bored in your presence. I think I'll let you mule that one over for a while. It would be entertaining to see what your mind perceives after all."

"Let me get this correct, you love me just like how I love Lucas, right?"

"Yes."

"So... kissing, hugging... uh, other stuff... that's all included?"

Drezair laughed again, and didn't answer. He reclined at the back of Ty's mind and went silent, completely dormant. For the rest of the class, the green eyed boy was lost in thought, trying to figure out the new complexity handed to him. Should I ask Lucas? Then he blushed and his eyes flew open to stare at the desk before him. Maybe not... bad idea... Shit.

At the back of his mind, Drezair continued to giggle every so often.
