"And don't take this personal, but you're the worst, you know what you've done to me..."

Sitting in the large tub, Robyn let a lone tear slide down her face as the water engulfed her. She had been in a funk ever since the woman who claimed to be her mother left and it was just so much for her to take in, Amani started to notice the change in her mother's demeanor and began to fall a victim to the cloud of sadness that plagued their household. Robyn couldn't stand seeing her child hurting so she requested that Chris take her to stay with Joyce for a few days.

"Baby, are you okay in there?" Chris asked from the other side of the door which Robyn made sure to lock once she was in the bathroom.

"I'm fine Chris...I'll be out in a second," she said with her voice low. She heard his frame slide down the door but chose to ignore, she was truly hurting due to the fact that her whole life she was led to believe that her mother was dead, she had always longed for a mother to gossip with and receive advice from but she never had that and she had been through so much shit so this was just the icing on the cake full of pain that had been shoved down her throat her whole life.

Stepping out of the tub, she wrapped her petite frame in a towel and stepped out of the room hesitantly. She didn't bother to speak to Chris who was sitting on the bed with a painful look on his face, once she was done getting dressed in a simple pair of shorts and a sports bra she said down next to Chris.

"I'm sorry.." she mumbled mimicking his movements with her head facing the floor.

"What are you sorry for Robyn?"

"For ignoring you while you were trying to be there for me, it's just hard for me to digest all of this y'know. I love you Chris" she cried into his arms while he kept silent and held her close to his heart.

"I love you too Robyn, you don't have to apologize for anything baby! I know that it's hard for you because it's hard for me too, I just want to know that your taking care of yourself and our child"

"Thank you again for being there Chris, I think I'm going to take a short nap though! I love you" she said before placing a kiss on his lips and laying down in their large bed.

3 hours later...

"Robyn baby, wake up I have a surprise for you!" Chris said excitedly while softly shaking Robyn awake. She stirred in her sleep for a while before finally sitting up to face him.

"What is it, Chris?! I'm tired" she whined as he picked her up out of bed.

"It's a surprise, just get dressed" he said before leaving the room so that she could get dressed in peace. After she got dressed Robyn did her hair in a messy bun on top of her head before going into the living room to meet Chris.

"Chris what are you doing-what the fuck!" She screeched when he put a black blindfold over her eyes and grabbed her hand leading her to the car.

"Can I take these off now Chris?" Robyn asked impatiently moving around in her seat.

"No! We are almost there, so you need to be patient" she groaned leaning her head against the window.

She smiled when the car finally came to a stop, Chris climbed out of the car and opened the door for her before leading her down a long path until they reached their final destination. Robyn slowly slid her blindfold off and smiled at the sight before her.

She kept her gaze focused on the beauty in front of her. "That's not all, come on!" Chris said leading her to a small blanket set up near the ocean with all of her favorite foods on it and a bottle of nonalcoholic sparkling cider. Robyn turned to him and jumped up in his arms placing a loving kiss on his lips.

"Babe, you didn't have to do this!" She blushed as they both sat down on the blanket.

"I wanted to, I saw my girl hurting and I wanted to do something to cheer her up!" Chris said pouring them both some sparkling cider while Robyn began snacking on some of the foods.

"I love you so much, Robyn! I really do and I don't think that you realize how much, before I met you I never had a real serious relationship and then you came along all those years ago and introduced me to so many new feelings and you gave me my first child so I'm grateful"

Robyn giggled and wiped away the tears that had fallen unknowingly. "I love you too Chris and I'm glad that we are working on us and getting back to how things were so we can be a complete family again" she said moving the plates over so that she could slide into his lap.

"So I was thinking, about the baby and stuff and I don't know if I want my son to be a junior" Chris sighed deeply looking out into the calming ocean.

"Why not?"

"I don't know, it's just so unoriginal in my opinion and if I have a son then I don't want him to feel like since he's a junior that he has to turn out like me or follow in my path"

Robyn scrunched up her nose making her thinking face before responding. "Your right, I wasn't going to name my child Chris Jr. anyway! If we have a boy I want his name to be Rashaad after my late uncle and if we have another little girl I want her name to be Raine!"

"Man, Rashaad...really?" He asked jokingly causing her to let out a low chuckle.

"Yes Rashaad, is there a problem with that?"

"Nope...not at all!" He said through laughs causing Robyn to pout.

"I'm just playing babe, I like those names!" She tried to hide the smile that spread across her face but failed when he peppered her face with loving kisses.

"I love you"

"I love you too Robyn" Chris replied pulling her petite body close to his as they laid on the beach and talked for the rest of the night.
