I have never run this fast. Just seeing America in Aspen's arms made my heartbreak. As I run to our room guards are blocking the door.

"MOVE!" I order.

"We are ordered by the general to keep you out." The tall and slender guard says.

"THE QUEEN OF ILLÉA NEEDS ME! MOVE!" I bellowed.

"Yes, sir." The guard steps aside.

I rush into the room, and scream, "Let me see my wife!"

I regret that decision. Too many wires hurting her. Her screaming. Terror to my eyes. I run to the closest doctor asking her if they are alright.

"Her heart stopped at the fall but the baby's kept going. We were able to keep the Queen's heart moving to without damaging the baby. She will be on bed rest but will recover in a week."

I walk slowly to her bedside.

I start crying.

"It's going to be alright, Maxon," Aspen says.

"But, what if it happens again?" I ask, looking to Aspen for an answer, any answer at all.
