First of all, I would like to thank you all for taking the time to read our story. I put a lot of thought into this story and I hope that you were able to feel the connection with each character as you read. I would like to thank all my friends and family for inspiring me and encouraging me to keep going.

I would like to thank Ms. Erin. This great woman has been the best person in my life because she let me use her computer.

I also want to thank my editor/friend/co-author because she wrote when I couldn't write and she didn't want to be part of the book at first, but I made her. And she's spell checking this whole thing (including what you are reading at this very moment) because I can't spell. I font saved it.

I love all the Selection fans in the world, and I owe Kiera Cass a big thanks to creating the series. Keep on reading but don't read Harry Potter. Seriously. I hope this inspired you to write your own books. Read the Selection, listen to Hamilton and stay dino!!!

I just want to thank everyone who has read this, and takes time to read acknowledgements. I hope, like my co-author/friend Erica, that you had a special connection with each character, and could really feel like you were that character. Except for when they were hurt.... I really don't wish that.

Also, I want to especially thank Erica because she started this idea of a fanfiction for the Selection, since she initially introduced the series to me. She's giving me WAY too much credit for the book, and we had a twenty minute war of me taking away my name from the cover, and her putting it back, bolding, underlining it, and making it crazy bright colors. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT, ERICA!!!

And, to all of my ELA teachers, who made me the bookworm/nerd that I am, I couldn't have started writing (or reading) without them. Plus my science teachers. They were nerds, too. Especially Mrs. Buch, who was a nerd, and was one of my favorite teachers ever.

My family and friends also contributed to me being a superfan of nerdy things. Thanks.

If you aren't a nerd, come on. Seriously, it's the best (Watching Doctor Who, marveling over The Lunar Chronicles and Harry Potter, gasping every time you see a good book, and overall, making everyone else a nerd, too).

And, I'll wrap it up, Erica is bugging me about writing too much. I really thank those people who don't read the last page first, or, like one of my favorite characters, The Doctor, rip out the last page so the story never ends.
