Few Months later...
America was as big as a house now. I think we'll have twins, but the Doctor and America say there's only one.
We got the nursery set up and supplies sent all around the palace. America is working too much and she is hurting but she pushes through. The due date is November 7, and it's October 15 now, so we have some time. Sometimes she is hungry, sometimes she needs help getting down the stairs. So when I am not there, the guards are. But this time I wasn't there, and the guards were at training. Someone started screaming.
I rush out of the study into the main hallway where I find Aspen, and I run in the same direction. There we find America kneeling on the floor, She's screaming and writhing in pain.
"America, can you talk? What's wrong?" I ask, worry seeping through my protective layer of calm.
Aspen gently picks her up and rushes her to the nurse.
When Aspen is running to the hospital ward, I can see trails of blood behind them. That's' when I truly start panicking. I am a little light-headed but it goes away when I see America. Why? Because I know now that she is with me. I rush to her bedside, and she lays her head on my shoulder, still crying.
"Why can't the pain go away?" She screams
I try to quiet her down but she is being so resistant.
I ask " Is there any pain relievers that she can take?"
'"I have one but it goes in her back." The Doctor whispers and goes to the medicine cabinet to check.
After they do the epidural, America is back to herself.
