Today is the twins' birthday, and they are very excited. I asked a chef to whip up a big birthday cake, and, as always, he delivered an exquisite piece of art.
Ahren, the little trouble-maker, was in the kitchen with Kile. I didn't know what was happening, as I was preoccupied with Eadlyn. That's when Eadlyn started giggling like crazy. I looked up, and there were the two boys, covered in flour, looking like cute, chubby ghosts.
"You crazy!" Eadlyn said, waving her small finger at them. I laughed as she hopped off my lap, and in the process, knocked her tiny tiara off of her dark brown curls. I picked it back up and set it on the table. Eadlyn ran over to Kile, and patted his head, sending flour everywhere. The maid in the room sighed, and I looked over sympathetically. She would have to clean this later.
