Jikook: Only When We're Drunk

20: Lies lies lies yeah!~

One of Jungkook's innate yet stupid talents was making quick lies on the spot. And this was one of of those moments where it would come in handy.

He obviously wasn't going to tell Namjoon the truth about what he and Jimin did. He only trusted Tae with this kind of info.

"So what is it Kook? Why were you mad?" Namjoon repeated as Jungkook came up with the lie.

"Well you see Namjoon, it was mainly because of a manga that Jimin and I were reading."

"So you smashed all of our lanterns because of a manga?!" Namjoon bursted out.

"Well it's more complicated than that, hyung. So Jimin and I decided to role play as the main characters in the manga, just reading the lines for fun. Jimin was the girl and I was the guy."

"Okay..." Namjoon hesitantly said.

"So anyways, the guy in the manga thinks of the girl as a friend but the girl actually likes the guy, but of course he didn't know that. And so one night the guy gets drunk and accidentally kissed the girl but she didn't know he was drunk and so she became very depressed because she thought he liked her back but he actually didn't. Well maybe he wanted a physical relationsh—"

"Jungkook!" Namjoon sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "At this rate we'll be late for practice, can you please get to the point!"

"I was getting there! Geez just listen to me for once. Anyways, the girl was depressed and the guy was furious with himself and at her for not telling him how he felt. The point is, Jimin and I got too into our roles while reading the manga and now he feels depressed and I feel angry... like the characters in the book. So that's why I smashed the lanterns," Jungkook clarified.

Namjoon sighed louder this time. "You kids and your manga I swear. Look, can't you and Jimin just forget about the manga for now? For practice at least? And for Christ's sake read a happy manga next time." Joonie finished.

"Umm okay hyung... you got it. Just don't bring up the manga at all in front of Jimin! Maybe he forgot about it by now!" Jungkook said hastily.

"Oh good idea," Namjoon said.

"Breakfast is ready!!" Jin called out. "Suga and I made it!"

Suga was usually too lazy to help make breakfast but he needed something to do to distract himself from the painful breakup with Hobi. And Jin also lifted his mood so it was a win-win. Except he dreaded the moment when Hobi would enter the room for breakfast. And he hated Jungkook at the moment since he admitted to wanting a physical relationship with Jimin. So he wasn't looking forward to seeing him either.

"Come on Jungkook, lets go eat before practice." Namjoon said.

"Uhhhh." Sksksks come on brain think of another lie. Oh I got it. "No thanks hyung, I already ate before smashing these lanterns."

"Ok fine, at least clean up your mess here. And you owe me money for them."

"Okay..." Jungkook said, relieved that he didn't have to go in the same room as Jimin for breakfast.

Namjoon went in the kitchen and Jungkook started collecting the mess to dispose in the outdoor garbage can.

Namjoon and Tae were the first two at the table. Jin and Yoongi brought the food over and sat with them.

Then a depressed Jimin walked in and slumped down in a chair.

When Jimin sat down next to Namjoon, he found that Jimin was still depressed.

Namjoon tapped Jimin's shoulder. "Jimin, I know you're sad from that manga you and Jungkook read but you have to keep in mind that's not reality! For practice just push it out of your mind okay! Jungkook said he would do the same." Namjoon said. And then realized he wasn't supposed to mention the manga. Oh well.

"Manga??" Jimin asked. Then he realized Jungkook must have came up with it as a lie to Namjoon to cover up what they did. "Ohh you mean that manga. Yeah... it made me really sad... but I will do as you say Namjoon! I will keep it professional during practice!" Jimin stated.

He was going along with Jungkook's lie because he didn't want to be exposed either. And if Namjoon found out, he would no doubt be forced to tell the company. Jimin was at least happy knowing that this lie would allow him to be able to practice properly and pretend not to be awkward with Jungkook.

Then Jhope walked in so Yoongi quickly said:

"I already ate! So I'm gonna uh go outside," Yoongi said awkwardly, wanting to avoid Jhope.

He made his way outside.

"Did he really eat?" Namjoon asked, concerned.

Jin nodded.

Yoongi walked outside and saw the maknae cleaning up a pile of broken lanterns. Before he could leave Jungkook's eyes were too fast and spotted him, awkwardly making eye contact.

"Uhh hi hyung..." Jungkook said.

Yoongi walked up to the younger, who was crawling for lantern pieces. He pulled back his hand and immediately slapped him square in the face.

Jungkook's mouth dropped a little from shock and pain.

"HOW COULD YOU?!!" Yoongi yelled. He was angry yes about him wanting only Jimin's body, but also because Jungkook was part of the reason why he was so mad with Hoseok last night and lashed it all out on him. Perhaps if Jungkook never told him that... Jhope wouldn't have broke up with him...

Jungkook cupped his swollen and already red cheek. "How could I what hyung?!!" Jungkook asked, angry at Suga for slapping him for seemingly no reason. There's no way he knows Jimin and I... he wouldn't tell Yoongi of all people... Jungkook thought in a panic.

Yoongi grabbed Jungkook's shirt to make sure he looked in his penetrating eyes. "You know what you said last night! You weren't even drunk yet and you admitted you probably just want Jimin for his body!! And then guess what I found this morning when I was making breakfast? Oh just about a dozen wine packets in the trash!! You got drunk after I left huh? And I saw how depressed Jimin was this morning!! I bet my ass YOUR HORNY FUCKING MIND LED YOU TO JIMIN'S ROOM AND YOU RAPED HIM LAST NIGHT!!" Yoongi yelled in Jungkook's face.

"And you were trying so hard to play innocent with me when Jimin was a tiny bit and drunk and saying you thought he would rape you! I knew I shouldn't have believed you, you fucking liar! And you know how I know you're a liar? You made up a stupid story about reading a manga with Jimin didn't you?

"How did you— Namjoon..." Jungkook said.

You think you have everyone fooled don't you?? Even Namjoon? WELL NOT ME! IF YOU EVEN SO MUCH AS TOUCH JIMIN I SWEAR TO GOD JUNGKOOK I'M GONNA MAKE IT SO THAT YOU CAN'T TOUCH ANYTHING!!!" Yoongi growled at the teary-eyed maknae.

"Rrrrrrrr, HYUNG HOW ABOUT YOU MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS. THIS IS BETWEEN JIMIN AND I NOT YOU! WHY DO YOU CARE SO MUCH?!!" Jungkook asked, still under Yoongi's grip.

"BECAUSE JIMIN IS A GOOD PERSON UNLIKE YOU! HE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS! ALSO!" Yoongi started crying. "YOU'RE THE REASON HOBI AND I BROKE UP!!"

"W-what?" Jungkook stammered out. "You guys broke up because of me?!"

Yoongi didn't see the point in lying and spit it out, "YES! BECAUSE YOU MADE ME SO MAD THAT IT MADE ME GO EXTRA HARD ON JHOPE'S PUNISHMENT AND HE BROKE UP WITH ME BECAUSE OF THAT!!"

Jungkook's mind twitched. He remembered what a punishment was because Jimin taught him when they used to watch porn together...

"WELL THAT'S NOT MY FAULT HYUNG!!!" Jungkook screamed and punched Yoongi as hard as he could. Yoongi hit back and they were quickly in a bloody brawl.
