i woke up as the bright light from outside the window shined in my face. i yawned then felt my stomach in pain. "aish.." i grabbed the snacks from the table since no one ate them last night. i stood up, and walked out the door to peek into sohee's room.
she's sitting on the bed, staring out the window.
i knocked on the door which caused her to flinch and turn around. "can i come in?"
sohee: "hongjoong? yes come in.."
i smiled as i walked in and closed the door behind me. "sohee-ah.. i'm so sorry, i'm so sorry i didn't find you sooner.. i let seonghwa shoot you, i didn't come on time, i didn't-"
sohee: "joongie, it's not your fault." she smiled at me and moved over while patting the spot next to her, signalling me to sit next to her.
i sat down and she held my hand. "don't blame yourself." she said in a soft and calming tone which made me smile uncontrollably.
i then cupped her cheeks. "now, don't try looking for jeongwoo yourself. i'll stay by your side. i'll be with you, just don't do anything stupid like that ever again, cuz you scared the hell out of me."
sohee: "i'm sorry. but what if you end up getting hurt because of me? what am i supposed to do then?"
hongjoong: "i'll still be by your side."
we stared into each other's eyes for a while.
but, i didn't realize i was already leaning close to her. our faces were inches apart. our lips were so close. she leaned in as well.
