as me and donghyuck were walking along the sidewalk, no one spoke.
mark: "so, donghyuck. how old are you?"
donghyuck: "i'm 19."
mark: "oh, that's cool! i'm 21, so i guess i'm two years older~" i teased.
donghyuck: "but i'm taller~"
mark: "pfft, as if! i'm taller!"
donghyuck: "fine, what's your height?"
mark: "i'm 5'9.."
donghyuck: "wait, we're the same height?"
mark: "lemme see." i leaned towards him and put both my hands on each of his shoulders. i brought him close to me as i stood in front of him. "hm, i guess we are the same height.."
before i could move back, i froze. i froze, while looking into his beautiful eyes. he's so gorgeous. "how can someone look so perfect?"
donghyuck: "umm.. y-you think that...?" he blushed while looking into my eyes.
mark: "wha- huh?" shoot.. i didn't want to say that out loud.. "UM I DIDN'T- I MEAN- I MEANT I-"
donghyuck suddenly cupped my cheeks then he stared into my eyes.
donghyuck: "your adorable.." he giggled

mark: "w-wha-"
he kissed my forehead. "i hope we get along even better in the future." he smiled and continued walking, leaving me standing there with my mouth hanging open.
in the future? does that mean.. he also sees a future with me..?
hongjoong's pov
we walked into sohee's apartment and she told me to go sit on the couch in her living room so she can check on jeongwoo.
she knocked on his door. "jeongwoo? are you asleep?" she peeked inside to see a baby jeongwoo sound asleep on his bed. she smiled and closed the door.
she came and sat next to me on the couch, "he's asleep. hm, he's never asleep this early. it's only 11pm, he stays up til around after 12.
hongjoong: "maybe he really does want to start going to school soon. he's probably practicing how to sleep early again, once he starts going back to school."
sohee: "ahh, your right." she nodded. "but i might have to take a day off tomorrow so i have enough time to sign all those school paper thingies."
hongjoong: "a day off, huh?" i smirked. "you know, those paper thingies would only take up at least 2 hours of your day.. we can spend the rest of the day together." i winked.
she snorted as i frowned. "fine, if i have time after signing the school paperwork, i'll let you know when we can hang out—"
i quickly held her hand in mine. "—as a couple."
she smiled. "your the sweetest thing ever." she leaned on my shoulder as i put my arm around her.
hongjoong: "i am, aren't i?" i said as she snickered. "i don't think i asked what your job is now?"
sohee: "right, i got hired a few days ago actually. i work as a social worker."
hongjoong: "a social worker? that's so cool! you must get paid a lot then, huh?"
she laughed, "yea, the pay is pretty good."
hongjoong: "if your a social worker you must know how to speak many languages. i don't think you ever mentioned all the languages you can speak."
sohee: "there's quite a few actually. i am fluent in korean, english, spanish, japanese and turkish."
i gasped. "woah! five languages? wow, my girlfriend is amazing.."
she blushed hearing me call her that. "are you tired? do you want to go to bed?"
hongjoong: "hm, it seems like your just so impatient to go to bed already?" i smirked.
she hit my arm lightly. "yah, you weren't this weird 2 years ago.."
i laughed. "okay, i'll go down to my place and quickly get my toothbrush."
sohee: "alright, i'll go wash up."
hongjoong: "i'll be quick, lemme put a timer on your phone! let me show you how fast your boyfriend is!" i started the timer and sped out the door like a little kid.
sohee: "cute." she smiled to herself.
i ran down to my apartment and quickly ran to the bathroom to grab my toothbrush. before leaving my apartment, i quietly spoke to myself. "something doesn't feel right."
i walked around the apartment completely forgetting that sohee's upstairs waiting for me.
i noticed the door to the balcony slightly opened.
