in the hospital

it's hard looking at jason. he was shot, by the same person who shot me. and hongjoong. and san, who he ended up killing.

sohee: "hongjoong.." i called the boy's name who was sitting next to me in the room jason is sleeping in. the surgery already happened and went well.

hongjoong: "yes, hee?"

sohee: "how long will seonghwa keep this up?" i started tearing up.

he embraced me in a hug. "it'll all be over soon.. once we catch him.."

i pulled away. "but why is seonghwa so against you guys? you keep talking about something that happened in the past.."

hongjoong's pov

hongjoong: "exactly how many people have you killed!? i just know that one of them is my cousin! why.. why'd you kill her? she never did anyth-"

seonghwa: "she deserved to die."

hongjoong: "that's fucking it-" i jumped on seonghwa and started beating him to the ground.

mingi saw and came and pulled me off. "wooyoung, help me!"

wooyoung grabbed my other arm and both boys tried pulling me off seonghwa.

i was crying, yelling, and screaming all at once.

seonghwa didn't fight back. he just stood there.

san and the others walked in. "yah, park seonghwa! what'd you do?"

seonghwa: "i killed his cousin." he said calmly.

hearing those words, i broke out of mingi and wooyoung's grip and punched seonghwa again. "you fucking piece of shit, your the one who deserves to die! she was innocent!"

seonghwa: "oh please, don't act like you haven't killed anyone."

i stopped as he pushed me off him. "shut up." i said.

seonghwa: "your the one who killed her. you killed my girlfriend. everyone in this room is a witness."

hongjoong: "that was an accident."

seonghwa: "no! my girlfriend.. loved me and i loved her. but you ruined everything. it's your fault! you killed her! you'll kill more people in the future, you know that, right?"

"i was in the bathroom when it happened." i couldn't stand him anymore.

not having the energy to fight anymore, i started walking out the front door.

seonghwa yelled from inside, making sure i heard him. "yah, kim hongjoong! just remember, your a murderer!"

that word, that one word, has gotten hongjoong messed up.

the one word in his head.
