i yelled in pain. the bullet went straight to my shoulder.

seonghwa: "i believe this belongs to me." he took the phone out of my hand and walked out the room.

i slowly fell to the ground. "hongjoong.."

hongjoong's pov

i woke up and realized sohee isn't here. "did she not come back yet?"

i noticed snacks on the table next to me. i smiled. "but i wanna share some with her.." i frowned then saw a note next to the snacks. "what's this?"

i picked up the piece of paper as i read it all in my head. "aish.. this girl is so stupid..."

i held onto my stomach as i ran out the hospital room. just then, i hear a loud boom.

that's the sound of a gunshot..

is seonghwa still here?

i stopped running. sohee.. she can't be with him. no, she can't..

i started running again. "SOHEE?! PARK SOHEE?! HEE! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

while i was running around the hospital, i bumped into someone. "yah! watch where your g-" i looked up at the person. "seonghwa."

he looked at me but ignored me. he put his cap on and ran away.

i don't have time to chase after him.. i need to find sohee.

hongjoong: "sohee! hee!" then i noticed blood, coming from underneath a door.

i ran to the door and opened it. i see sohee on the floor, holding her shoulder and crying.

hongjoong: "sohee.."

she looked up and saw me. "hongjoong-ah.. he ran away.."

hongjoong: "i'll deal with him later. right now we need a doctor."

i ran out the room and started running around to find a doctor. i spotted one as i ran to him. "sir! someone has been shot!"

doctor: "you found where it happened? we looked everywhere but couldn't find where the shot took place, all we knew was that it was a gunshot and it happened in the hospital. quickly lead me to that person, i'll call in some nurses as well."

i nodded as i ran to sohee. the nurses took sohee to the surgery room.

i sat outside the operation room, still holding onto my stomach. the doctor came out as i quickly ran to him. "doc! did you guys take the bullet out of her shoulder?!"

doctor: "yes, we did. the operation went well. she's very lucky to have a boyfriend like you." he smiled.

hongjoong: "actually-"

doc: "hey, your hurt too! your already a patient here! let me take you to your room right now."

hongjoong: "b-but sohee-"

doc: "don't worry, we'll keep her in the room next to yours." he smiled as he brought me back to my room.

hongjoong: "thank you."

he smiled. "oh, here they bring your girlfriend. she'll be in the room beside you, alright?"

i nodded, then noticed something. "um.. doc?"

doctor: "yes?"

hongjoong: "i don't know why.. but you look and sound a bit familiar to someone i know. mind taking your mask off your mouth?"

he looked at me and didn't say anything. then he glared at me.

that's when i realized.

hongjoong: "it's you."
