with that, the deep-voiced man left the house.
i collapsed on the floor, crying. if i feel numb right now, then how does jeongwoo feel?
after a few minutes, i calmed down when i heard something.

i quickly stood up. i walked towards where i heard the sound coming from. i peeked behind the couch and i see hongjoong. ropes tied around him, tape on his mouth.
sohee: "hongjoong-ah! where the hell did you go?!"
i untied the ropes but it took a while because it was really hard. i then took the tape off his mouth and it wasn't even a second after when hongjoong jumped on me and hugged me.
i hugged him as well. "joongie.. i was so scared.. how did that man take you without me noticing?!"
hongjoong: "don't worry. we're both safe now. how about you? were you just casually talking to that man without trying to run?"
i didn't want to worry him by saying that the man had a knife. so i lied, "um yea i guess. sorry."
hongjoong: "next time, run." i nodded in response.
i moved away. "wait.. did you hear.. everything?"
hongjoong: "i mean.. well.. i, uh-"
sohee: "he has jeongwoo."
hongjoong looked down. "i know."
we both stayed silent for a couple minutes when hongjoong spoke up, "i'll help you."
