Chapter Eleven

Richard is getting his honorary doctorate today and I've been lucky enough to not have to go back to Budapest just yet and be there with him and his parents celebrating. We've been at his parents since after Glastonbury and it's been nice having some more time with his family. He makes a speech and there's lots of photos afterwards and we head out for a family dinner "Richard so far has been the one to make the speeches and completely embarrass me Cannes being the perfect example so I thought I'd return the favour. I'm incredibly lucky to have found someone who is just as passionate and driven as I am when it comes to what we do, who makes me a version of myself I didn't think I'd be again. I am a extremely proud girlfriend today and I'm happy to be apart of this family who raised the man I love and I'm excited for us to start our next chapter together and whatever the future holds for us. To Richard" I say and we toast "That was very sweet" he says "I mean it I'm so proud of you and glad you picked up my coffee that day all those months ago" I say "Can you believe it's been eight months since we met" he says "Not really it feels longer with everything we've went through" I say "Love you" he says "Love you too" I say and we share a little kiss. We're driving back from dinner "Today is also the 4th of July and my first one not in the US so I want to wish all my friends and family back home a happy 4th. Back home I'd usually be with my dad and friends having a barbecue but I got to celebrate a different way this year and celebrate my amazing boyfriend with people who've made me feel apart of their family so I don't miss mine so much" I say and post to my Instagram.

I'm back in Budapest filming and I have the morning off so I decide to sit down and do a little Instagram Q&A "I asked you guys for questions on my Instagram and I have some time to kill before I have to be on set so I thought I'd answer a few. So alot of people asked questions about Richard and I so I'm just gonna join them together in one answer. So we are moving in together once I'm done shooting. We are talking about buying somewhere new that's kinda the place before our forever home and we'll probably move out of London just for privacy reasons. In terms of marriage we're not there yet but we're also not ruling it out we're extremely happy how things are now and we might not necessarily be traditional and be engaged for a long time or we might just get married no engagement we don't know but we've both said we'll know when it's the right time to do it. Kids we both want them hence the house debate and the move outside London. Again we'll know when we're ready" I say and scroll through for some more questions "What's my plans after filming. Vacation, moving, family and friend time and working on other projects outside of acting. I have nothing lined up for acting wise for a while so it's a chance to relax and unwind after a busy couple of months" I say and find another question "Advice for former self harmers. It's a one day at a time type of thing I haven't self harmed in about two years now and their were days in the beginning when it's all I wanted to do but it's all about having the right supports in place I still see a therapist regularly and my family and friends are so supportive. My scars are a reminder of that time in my life and never be ashamed of them they remind you of what you've overcome" I say and I answer a couple more before getting ready to head to set.
