chase's pov
i figured everything out with mrs. blake. she would drive her up to stockton and tell her they were going a city past stockton but stay. then they would stop at a gas station where i would be. then i surprise her.
it doesn't seem so smooth but its what her mom came up with. it was as smooth as it could be. we set it to happen in 2 days. it was more convientent for her mom. now i had to see who would drive me.
i walked downstairs, in my elmo hoodie and cookie monster pajama pants. i saw my mom in the kitchen on her phone along with one of my sisters, karissa. i walked next to my mom and sat on the counter next to her. "hey mom" i attempt to get her attention. "hey bud" she responded with putting her phone giving me her full attention.
"so i planned out something with addy. i just need a ride to the gas station that's like 15 minutes from here. shes coming in 2 days" i let her in on the details. "i can drive him. i like addy. i need to go to the target in that area" karissa buds in offering to drive me. "thank you hun i love how you two get along...sometimes" my mom thanks my sister. "thanks karissa and we need to be there by noon" i add on before going to my room. before i reach my door i run back down. "its a surprise for addy so don't say a word" i let them know. they both nod and i go into my room.
it was pretty tidy. i didn't have to prepare much. my bed was big enough for us too. i just had to wait for her which was gonna be forever. i called her on facetime. she picked up almost immedialty. she had no makeup on which was a rare sighting. she loved makeup. she looked at me and faked a smile.
"hey babyyy" i say. "hey lover boy" she says back. "what are you doing? are you on a computer or something?" i question looking at her seeing a light reflecting on her face. "yeah im doing some research. im scared for finding out some things on tour" she hints at the possible pregnancy. "oh yeah that. its alright babe. whatever happens im not leaving and don't plan on it either" i reassure her.
"im sorry chase. its just that you see us and the positives. your world is full of rainbows and unicorns. i see reality. this could end our career and even ruin our lives" she says with a tear running down her face. "im sorry. i get that. i am here. i want you to know that im here for you. for us through thick and thin. i love you" i attempt to make her feel better. "i love you too bubs. i gotta go but i will text you later. my mom is calling me. " she waves at the camera before hanging up.
i go to check my messages because i haven't checked my messages at all today.
