addy's pov
its been 2 weeks since i found out i was pregnant. i had called and scheduled an appointment for me in my hometown. chase had been staying with me ever since. we told my parents and they were disappointed but gave us support. they are excited now. we haven't told his family though. my appointment is at 9 and its 8 right now. we are going to leave at 8:30.
i wore chase's hoodie with a sports bra underneath. i wore sweat pants. i had my hair down and wore my everyday makeup look. of course i wasnt showing yet im only about a month pregnant. finally when it was time to go chase drove us to the doctors. "can you believe this is happening babe?" chase asked with a huge smile on his face. "its unreal" i reply with.
we arrive and walk in holding hands. we walk to the front desk. "hi we're here for my first appointment" i say to the lady behind the front desk. she looked at me and chase giving a judging look. "first name, last name, and date of birth please" "adalyn blake 3/24/03" i answer quietly avoiding judgement from the rest of the room. she nods and has a younger lady take us back.
"hi im dr. sonora i will be taking care of you for these 9 months" "im adalyn and this is chase" we shake hands. she takes us into a room. before i sit down she handed me a cup and said they needed a urine sample. i went to the bathroom and peed in the cup and gave it back to them.
they also drew my blood at that appointment. she checked me out which confused me a little. but i didn't know what to expect. she holds out a hand to help me sit up. "okay you seem to be perfectly healthy and so is the baby. you are 4 weeks along and it'll change every sunday. so we estimated your due date to be march 8th. good luck guys! and do you know what you will do with the baby?" dr. sonora asks while looking deep in my eyes. "we are keeping it" chase answers for me. a smile spread on her face. "good for you guys! i will see you in a month and here are the sonogram pictures" she handed me the pictures.
in the pictures the baby was literally a tiny little peanut. i felt my eyes began to tear up. chase hugged me from behind and kiss my temple. "theres baby hudson" i say pointing at it. "i like the sound of that" chase replies with.
we had a plan to drive to his parents and tell them about it. he drove to stockton but i slept the whole way there. my body was being shaken so i opened my eyes. chase was waking me up. i looked up and we were at his house. "got the pictures?" he asked me. i showed him that i had them in my bag. my heart started pounding out of my chest. he grabbed my hand and he knocked on the door. mrs. hudson answered it. "chase, addy is every thing okay?" mrs. hudson asked after studying my worried face.
we both nodded as she let us in. "mom we have to talk to you and the family" chase said in a serious tone. she noticed that it was important so she told everyone to come down for a family meeting. everyone sat at the couch while chase and i sat in 2 separate chairs. all eyes we're now on us. "okay tell us" marlena said.
"we are having a baby" chase said with following silence. "and what will you do with it?" chases mom asks us. "keep it, its our responsibility and i want to prove to my family that i can be a young mother and a good one" i explain. his mom stood up and hugged me. it was such a loving and well needed hug. "i cant be upset about it. i cant change what's happened and i know i will love my grandbaby to death. how far along?" mrs. hudson says. "4 weeks. expecting this little one to come early march" chase says as he places his hand on my belly. it felt weird because i didn't look pregnant yet.
the rest of the family congratulated us and hugged us. "lets hope for another boy since we have all these girls around" chase's dad says as he pats his sons shoulder. i am so happy that we are accepted with our child in our families. we just have to tell our friends and the whole world basically. we are debating on if we pull a kylie jenner and gabriela gonzales and hide it until the baby comes. i think we will announce it along with the gender and name reveal. i am so excited to meet baby hudson.
