it was 7 am on march 9th. chase and addy restless. staying up almost everynight from addy's contractions. addy sat in bed while chase was making breakfast. pain shocked through her stomach causing it to tense up. she checked the time. 7:08. last contraction was 7:04. 4 minutes apart. the pain grew to be unbearable.
addy went to the bathroom to do her makeup. she had her makeup done and curled her hair. she threw on a dress because it'll be easier to change to the hospital gown. chase walked in with 2 plates in his hand. he placed one on her nightstand. "hey babe i made pancakes, hash browns, eggs, and bacon its on your nightstand"
she didn't answer causing worry to chase. he stood up to walk to the bathroom. "hey what are you doing" chase asked stratching his head. "this baby is coming and i need to look presentable" she says while slipping on slides. chase ran to throw on clothes and shoes. he grabbed the hospital bag and addy's plate of breakfast. he walked her down the stairs into the car.
they drove 8 minutes from the hospital. they walked up to check in to the older light haired woman."hello how may i help you?" she asks politely with her eyes glued on a computer. "um hi im in labor and i need a room. the name is adalyn blake and my date of birth is 3/24/03" the lady's face looks up to the couple and nods her head. "okay have a seat we will get you in immedialty" she points at the wheel chairs.
chase gets addy a wheelchair and is greeted by dr. sonora at the double doors. she took them into a room where they checked addy. she was 9 cm dilated already. "oh this baby wants out okay let me get the crew" dr. sonora says. chase grabs his phone to call their moms. "i can't give birth without our moms here chase " addy worries. "i called them both are almost here" chase reassures her and kisses her forehead. 5 minutes pass and everyone is in the room waiting for the doctors to come deliver the baby. one mom on each side of addy holding her hands.
the crew of the delivery staff walks in and shows everyone what to do. chase will be the one cutting the chord and helping to deliver her. "okay push on the count of 3...1..2..3!" after being told what to do lila rose hudson was born at 9:09 on march 9th. she was laying on addy's chest.
a perfect baby girl. big dark blue eyes, dark curly hair. button nose and a tiny body. she was weighed at 5 lbs 2oz. 17 inches long. she was here. in this world with every one else.
