addy's pov
today is the day of the gender reveal. madi told me that what chase and i will do is stand in between 2 smoke bombs and that's about it. there would be no gifts. gifts are for the baby shower. i had my outfit picked out already and what i wanted my hair and makeup to look like.
i wore a pink bodycon dress to show off my bump. it wasn't so big but it was visible. i wore pink for team girl because i feel like im having a girl. i had my hair straightened with a braided crown. and my makeup was my every day makeup look with a little extra add ons. chase was wearing a purple button up with black pants. he thinks its a girl too but he wants to represent both genders.
we both wore purple vans to match. we got the idea from jack avery and gabriela gonzalez. we drove to the warehouse where it was being held. the party started at 1 and it was 12:30. i was greeted by madi giving me a little hug. her hand went down to feel my belly. "i thinks its a girl and she will be a pretty princess" i smile at what she said.
we go in and we have a seat at the table. everyone else was in the kitchen. we were all talking. "so when will the fans know?" payton says as he eats a french fry. "as soon as we have a video put together for the gender and name as an announcement" chase replies. "i don't wanna be that guy but are you prepared for the hate?" anthony spoke up. "i don't know how i will take it but i wanna be strong for my baby. it usually doesn't get to me but it might when it comes to my family" i respond. "don't worry addy im here to protect my family. that's what dads are for" chase hangs his arm around me.
soon people started arriving and congratulating me and chase. donnoven arrived and he started off with a photoshoot of me and chase. he also took videos. chase and i posed for the pictures for a little. donnoven was also vlogging for us. he had everyone say a message for the announcement in the video including me and chase individually. i said "so we are here celebrating my little baby! i cant wait to show you off to the world baby hudson" with a microphone in hand i heard madi's voice.
"attention everyone! we are here celebrating baby hudson with chase and addy! chadalyn, get yo butts up here" i grab his hand and go up to where madi was. everything was set up already it was just time to thank everyone. i started. "hello! i just want to thank you all for coming and joining us for this really special moment. all the support is unreal! thank you to our friends who planned this. you guys are the best and i love you all!" i handed the microphone to chase to say something as well. "yes thank you all. this is so important to us and im glad you all are here for us. it means more than the world to us. thank you for being part of this journey with us and baby hudson" as he finishes our friends start a countdown.
we stand in between the two smoke bombs and we hear "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1" then the bombs were set to start releasing the smoke. it took 5 seconds to show the color. my eyes got big and i kissed chase as soon as i found out that it's a girl. we are having a baby girl!
i pulled chase into a hug as i let a few tears slip. "we're having a girl chase!" i cry into him. he pets my head and kisses the top of my head. i got a lot of hugs from everyone. i took some pictures with a lot of family and friends too. now all i want is to hold her
