Chapter 1

Aaaaaaaaaanddddddddd HERE WE GO!

-Shawn's P.O.V.-

I opened my eyes to the light shining through my window.

''Just another day.''  I reminded myself before getting up and doing my morning routine.

Not even glancing at the mirror of my bathroom, I took a short shower and brushed my teeth. I sighed and dressed up.

My body was a mess, but I had muscles. I worked out a lot in my free time, mostly as an excuse to get out of the house. I didn't want any questions from my parents or my nice brother Alex.

I pulled the hood over my face and got out of my room. Taking my backpack I went downstairs to the kitchen. As mom and dad went out to do some stuff, Alex didn't have school today and I definitely didn't want to go to school with Zack, I just walked on foot.

It took me fifteen minutes to school, so it wasn't that bad.

The birds were singing and the Sun was shining. It was indeed a beautiful day but my head was constantly preoccupied with what are they gonna do to me today to even realize the weather.

I reached the school and went straight to my locker. Sadly my only friends had different classes then me this morning. I took all of the books I needed and went to the classroom, sitting in the darkest corner as always, while everybody else chatted and laughed.

The teacher talked about something important but I couldn't bring myself to pay attention. I was just somewhere else. In my house, in my room, safely locked away from the cruel world.

When it finally rang I quietly picked up my stuff and went to the second class. For me time was fast in classes and slow in the hallways. Every person except my two only friends was a threat, some more some less.

It past quickly and it was lunch break. And just as I begin to have some hope, I heard footsteps behind me. Just then, I felt the strongest sweet, blueberries scent and my stomach flipped.

''Mate!'' Gray was of course happy but I knew better.

''Gray, I love you, and I'm sorry.'' I said already in pain. His tail stopped wagging and he looked around in confusion.

''Look who we have here.'' I heard my brother's voice and I slowly turned around. He was smiling at me wickedly. The Alpha's son Kayden was standing there right beside him having the same grin on his face, and every single student of our high school behind them.

This was going to be really bad.

''What is the little omega fag up to today?'' Zack asked and the lot laughed. Kayden on the other hand had his eyes widened in what looked like disgust. Then I heard some commotion at the back of the group and my best friend's face appeared. ''Shawn!'' Liliana tried to push people away but they caught her hands. She glared at them and desperately looked at me. I was pretty sure Ashley was behind her. I nodded at her, showing her I'm going to be okay as always but fear still stood in her eyes.

''Look at this.'' Kayden suddenly said, causing every person to look at him. He smirked at me. ''Looks like the little omega is my mate.'' The lot gasped and then laughed.

''Don't do this Kayden!'' Liliana squirmed in hands of some guys who just snickered at her attempts.

''Shut up!'' Kayden growled at her and turned back to me. ''I, Kayden Robert Parker, the future the Alpha of Blue Moon pack, reject you, Shawn Jackson Miller, the weak little omega, as my mate.'' That moment I felt nothing as they usually describe rejection. I didn't feel a pang in my chest. Instead something stabbed me right in my chest, and slowly twisted. Gray practically screamed in agony and it ringed in my ears. Me being even more pathetic, fell to the floor in my try not to make any noise so they would enjoy my suffering even more.

Every single person laughed and to be even better, I felt two kicks right to my stomach. Too much. I thought, closing my eyes and coughing. I heard screams and feet backing away.

As I opened my eyes, thick red liquid in drops was pouring down my chin falling to the little pool on the floor. My eyes slowly began to close.

''SHAWN!!!'' Liliana screamed and there was something like a punch and a few gasps. Then I felt a lily scent and warm, comforting hands around me. ''Ash, help me, I got him!'' Liliana shouted to my other best friend Ashley. Soon another pair of hands was felt. ''Its gonna be okay Shawnie, you'll be just fine.'' Ashley softly whispered while she and Liliana slowly pulled me up. The two of them half helped me, half carried me. Liliana's pretty blond hair getting red with my blood in the process. I whimpered at that and she knew exactly what I meant so she shot me a worried glare and hugged my shoulders.

The crowd moved while we walked, and turned again, so Zack and Kayden were in the middle again.

But I stopped. Liliana looked at me weirdly. ''Shawn what are you-'' but I stopped her. ''I need to do this.'' I turned around to the crowd almost falling, and reached for my hood. Ashley gasped when she saw my action. ''Shawnie-'' she started but I shook my head and whispered. ''No, I need to do this.''

I wiped my mouth from blood, slowly took in a shaky breath because my lungs felt crushed, and finally, after five years, showed myself to the people that hated me. Gasps were all that was heard in the hallway.

I didn't pay attention to any of them. Just to my brother and my mate that rejected me. Zack looked shook and Kayden's emotion was just unreadable. ''I hope you're  happy.'' I said in a normal tone and it felt weird. I only whispered since I was twelve. My voice was deeper then I remember it being.

Zack's eyes shot up to me and his eyes widened. I ignored him completely and looked at Kayden. He looked as shook as my brother.

''You just took away from me one of the little people that still care for me in this world.'' I was careful for my voice not to shake. He looked at me like he sees me for the first time ever.

''Shawn, what do you mean?'' Liliana asked quietly. I turned around and looked at her and Ashley. My eyes filled up with tears. ''Gray is gone Lil.'' I whispered weakly and everything became blurry.

I could only hear someone screaming my name and someone catching me before my weak body hit the floor.

''Well they finally saw who I am.''

It wasn't Gray's voice in my head.

Gray was gone.
