Chapter 4

Last chapter had a lot of information for parents don't ya think? Ok! Lets get on with it!

-Kayden's P.O.V.-

When we finally moved from our spot in the hallway I decided its best to skip. So Zack and I were walking towards his house. Zack was unusually silent so I asked the question that was playing over and over again in my head.

''You don't think he'll tell your parents, right?''

Zack shook his head. ''He never did. He doesn't even speak, he never would, I would beat him up again.''

''And Alex?''

He shakes his head again. ''He doesn't even know he's gay.''

I nodded and the rest of the walk was silent. It was a weird silence since we always talk and laugh when we go to our houses. When we finally arrived Zack unlocked the door and we entered. Suddenly there was a shuffle.

''YOU!!!'' someone screamed and we whipped around seeing Mrs. Miller running towards us. She was just about to pounce on us when Beta Miller held her back. Our eyes widened at them. She snarled and tried to escape her mate's grip. Her dark, angry eyes on Zack.

''YOU FUCKING RUINED YOUR BROTHER'S LIFE!!!!!'' she screamed again, escaping the grip for a moment. Beta Miller barely caught her before she leaped on Zack. My stomach flipped. Oh no...

''I'LL KILL YOU!!! MARK LET ME GO!!! I'LL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!!!'' she continued screaming while snapping her teeth and growling.

''HOW COULD YOU!!! YOU PROMISED!!!!'' the loudest scream by now. Then her eyes widened and she was suddenly calm. ''You promised.'' she whispered and tugged herself out of the strong grip. She then turned around and returned to the couch. She sat down and started sobbing into another women's chest.

That's when I realised it was my mom. My dad was sitting on an armrest, looking at the figure on the couch. Shawn's friends were standing in front of it so we couldn't see. They were both glaring at us.

''Dad...'' Zack said, causing me to look to them. They were just looking at each other. Beta Miller then shook his head. ''There's no words for what you've done Zack. I don't have anything to tell you.'' he said and returned to sit on the floor by his sobbing mate.

Zack shook slightly and I looked at my parents. ''Mom, dad.''

My dad's head whipped towards me. He was fuming. My mom on the other hand, let out a weird noise. I looked at her and she was crying too, while holding her broken best friend. ''You should love your mate whoever it is. But you do this?'' she shook her head. ''You broke my heart Kayden. And you destroyed his.'' she went quiet after that, grasping tighter at whatever she was holding onto.

''Look at him.'' my dad demanded and my eyes widened. ''LOOK AT HIM!'' he shouted and we flinched. We moved closer but both girls snarled. ''Liliana, Ashley, let them through.'' he said again. They moved, the blond one having a deadly look on her face.

As we leaned forward Zack gasped.

On the couch was lying Shawn. His whole chest, neck and arms full of bleeding bruises, cuts, scars and purple splotches. A woman who I recognised as the pack doctor was cleaning the bleeding ones on his stomach. Despite being totally beaten up, this boy had muscles. Even bigger then Zack! But he looked tired and broken.

Jay whined at the sight and screamed a little again. I ignored that, looking at his face. He had his beautiful eyes closed, his hair flowing into them in a few places. His expression blank and emotionless.

''Look what you did Kayden!'' my dad boomed. ''You rejected your mate! The most beautiful boy my eyes ever saw! So what if he's an omega?! I would be so proud for him being your mate! I would be proud of you, saving him and showing people he is perfect! BUT YOU DO THIS?!!''
