Chapter 15

I'm sowvy... Again... -_-   <3

 Jihyuk has just finished his breakfast. He wiped his mouth and stood up. Walking out of the kitchen, he saw Baekhyuk and Daeshim watching a comedy and laughing along with it. Baekhyuk's bell-like laugh filling the house. Jihyuk grinned his boxy smile and put on his sneakers. While he was walking to the door, Jihyuk grabbed his sunglasses of the coffee table. 

''I'm going over to Shawn's guys!'' he said to the couple, who both turned their heads around to look at him.

''Say hi from me, will you hyukie?'' Baekhyuk asked cutely. Dashim cooed and the other smacked his head. Daeshim whined and rubbed the spot. Jihyuk snickered but nodded anyways. Baekhyuk beamed at him and then turned back around. Jihyuk was just closing the door when he heard Daeshim whining again.

''Do you have to hit me that hard?'' he asked and Baekhyuk shrugged.

''Sorry not sorry.''

Jihyuk bust out laughing while walking over the street. Some of the pups that were playing nearby giggled along. They didn't know what they were laughing about, but Jihyuk's laugh was always contagious.

Jihyuk opened the yard door and walked in. He only managed a few steps in peace, because Yara ran towards him, yipping loudly.

He smiled at her and ran his hand through her fur. ''Hey Yara. Have you seen Shawn around somewhere?'' he asked and the wolf just shrugged. Then she saw a bird and ran towards it in her full speed. Jihyuk just shook his head at her and walked towards the house. Once he was inside, he saw Jaeseumin and Jason playing a board game on the floor of their living room.

''Hey.'' he said casually and both of them whipped their heads towards him.

''Hi Jihyuk-ah!'' Jaeseumin yelled enthusiastically. Jason waved a little and then they turned back around. Jihyuk shook his head again. His noona and hyung were always competitive. Especially with each other.

Jihyuk passed through the house and climbed up the stairs to the second floor, where the bedrooms were.

He walked down the hallway, stopping at a white door in the middle, to push it open and enter. It was the first time he came into Shawn's room after everything from his bags was on place. He huffed. It was very clean. And very white. Well, except the walls. They were a light lavender color that blended into a white. 

''I need to bring some color into this room.''  he noted to himself and then looked around. Shawn wasn't there. He checked both his walk-in closet and the bathroom but he wasn't there either. Just when he was about to give up, a ray of light probed at his eye. He groaned and blocked it with a hand. When he looked around to find where it was coming from, he saw that the balcony door was opened. Jihyuk smiled lightly and walked towards them. He slowly parted the thin, feathery white curtains, and there he was.

Shawn was sitting on the floor of his balcony, his eyes closed. The Sun was high in the sky above him, saying it was around noon. He was relishing in the light summer breeze that ruffled up his light purple locks that were glistening in the early afternoon sun, the color of them making it all even prettier and magical. He was humming a soft tune, with a light smile on his lips.

Dressed in an almost transparent white t-shirt and light blue shorts, all of his outer appearance made him look like a higher form.

Jihyuk was out of words. He just walked towards the boy, and then sat down next to him.

The following minutes were spent in a comfortable silence and Jihyuk was starting to wonder if Shawn ever knew that he was with him. But then the purple haired boy's eyes fluttered open, his eyelashes dragging over his cheeks while doing so.

''Hi Jihyukie hyung.'' he said and smiled at the older. In that moment, he looked truly angelic.

Jihyuk smiled back. ''Hey. What are you doing?'' he asked and the younger boy looked up at the cloudless sky.

He hummed. ''Just chilling myself up a little in the breeze. The weather forecast said that it's going to get even hotter, so I'm just enjoying this temperature while it lasts.'' he answered and Jihyuk nodded.

He scooted closer to the younger who then lowered his head down to lay on Jihyuk's lap. Jihyuk chuckled and ran a hand through Shawn's freshly dyed hair. The younger opened his eyes again, and looked up at him, a small smile plastered to his lips.

After some time, Shawn reached up to brush away of Jihyuk's blue hair and sighed. ''You have really pretty eyes hyung.'' he said, almost too quiet for the older to hear. He, however did hear the soft comment. Jihyuk, the kind of person he was, blushed instantly, and looked away. Shawn giggled and took the older's hand in his.

Jihyuk switched his eyes back to the boy after a good five minutes only to find him still lightly smiling up at him. This time he just grinned at the smaller boy fondly and Shawn laughed. Jihyuk could feel that he was happy. And that made him even happier.

The Sun had now moved a little more towards them. Shawn's hair was shining in the light, making it look like an amethyst crown. Jihyuk petted his head and caught a hold of some of the bright purple locks.

''You are really rocking this color, you know.'' he said and the smaller giggled.

''I know.'' he answered cockily and smirked right after. Jihyuk laughed and in a few minutes both of them were practically suffocating because of the loud noises that were coming from their mouths.

It took them another ten minutes to finally calm down again.

''So'' Jihyuk started again, his face still wet from the tears that were produced by their laughing fit. ''That came out of nowhere.''

Shawn nodded, his head still on his hyung's lap. ''Right?''

''Do you want to have a sleepover tomorrow?'' Jihyuk asked, showing Shawn his big puppy eyes.

The younger boy groaned. ''You know I can't say no to those.'' he mumbled and Jihyuk cheered.

It was two in the afternoon when Jihyuk spoke up again. ''Maybe we should go down and eat something now.'' he whispered to Shawn and brushed his hand against the younger's neck. Shawn hummed in appreciation and arched his neck a bit. ''Yeah. And maybe we shouldn't'' Jihyuk snickered and leaned back against his hands.

''Sure.''

And so they've spent the rest of the warm afternoon on the big balcony. Talking, laughing and relishing in each other's scents.

Nothing broke the happiness for the boys that day. Not even when Jaeseumin and Jason came running up the stairs, playing yet another round of tag.

Everything was perfect.
