Chapter 23

It was the hot Wednesday afternoon and a very few people was out. It was summer, but that day was exceptionally warm.

Kim Daniel hummed a random tune while he walked down the street towards the Alpha house. His sunglasses reflected the sun's light when he moved his head. He huffed and pushed back his hair, combing it away from his forehead. The silver strands twinkling brightly. He could hardly breathe from the sheer warmness of the air.

He reached his destination and walked through the garden. With a squeeze to the doorknob, Daniel entered the house and sighed in bliss. It was finally cold enough for him to breathe.

The tv was on so he guessed that Beakhyuk and Daeshim were somewhere around. Then he heard a laugh from the kitchen. Must be them.

He took off his shoes and walked over to the kitchen.

Beakhyuk and Daeshim were indeed there. Daeshim was laughing and holding a tub of ice cream above Beakhyuk's height of reach. The younger male was whining and jumping, trying to grab it.

Daniel just leaned onto the kitchen island with an amused expression.

After a good minute or so, Beakhyuk let out a pained yelp and fell to the floor. Daeshim gasped and dropped to his knees, the ice cream landing next to him carelessly. 

''Oh Goddess, oh Goddess! Beak are you okay?! Where does it hurt baby?! Where is the phone, I'm calling our healer!'' he started panicking, and while he wasn't looking, Beakhyuk grabbed the tub of ice cream and grinned.

''Ha! I got you, you tall ass meanie!'' he yelled victoriously and jumped up to his legs.

Daeshim looked baffled for a moment. Then he stood up too and glared at his husband. ''Don't do that! I thought that you really got hurt!'' he whined but Beakhyuk only laughed harder.

Daniel cleared his throat to make his presence clear. Both males flinched and looked over.

''Hey hyungs.'' he said casually to which Beakhyuk let out a weird sound.

''How long were you standing there Daniel?'' Daeshim asked, with a faint blush on his cheeks.

''Long enough.'' Daniel replied smugly. Beakhyuk snorted and Daeshim just looked down.

''Not to take your time hyungs, where are Jikyuk and Shawn?'' Daniel asked.

''Oh they're upstairs! I think in hyuk's room?'' Beakhyuk said and then dove into his ice cream.

''Thanks! See you guys later.'' Daniel smiled and then dashed up the stairs.

When he reached the second floor he walked to the second door on his right. He was about to knock when he heard a sound close to a hiss.

''It hurts!'' he heard a voice which he knew was Jihyuk's. Then another small whimper.

''It will hurt even more if you keep squirming hyung.'' came a gentle reply. ''Must be Shawn'', Daniel thought.

''Ah! I can't! Shawn, take it out of me, please! I don't like this!'' Jihyuk whimpered and Daniel froze. Then he went beet red. Oh Goddess. Was he about to walk in on them? And more importantly, how the hell wasn't Jihyuk the top?

''Hyung stop squirming! It's not that big!'' Shawn said again.

Daniel choked when Jihyuk let out another pained moan.

''Hyung it's a fucking splinter! You aren't dying!'' Shawn yelled and Daniel felt himself relax. He snorted and shook his head. Then he knocked. Jihyuk went quiet for a second. ''Come in!'' he yelled. Daniel opened the door and walked inside.
