Guys, I'm so so sooooo sorry for not updating! I just had some things going on. My computer is still unable to power on (blame my dad -_-), so I'm writing on my mom's laptop for now! Oh! And I'm gonna write in nobody's P.O.V. for now because I can let out and express more emotions that way. Anyways, enjoy the chappie! Luv ya!

Shawn's small figure turned in the bed to keep the light out of his eyes. The blissfull warmth and comfort of the bed was all Shawn needed. It was an hour later when his eyes slowly fluttered open. He groaned sleepily his eyes focused on the ceiling above him.

He sighed and peeled the covers off of him. He stood up but fell down as soon as he did. He groaned, feeling the mating bond still twisting and breaking. A few moments later someone was furiously knocking on his door.

''Shawn? Is everything okay?'' a worried voice of his mother came through the door. He nodded, forgetting that she couldn't see him.

''Shawn?'' This time the voice was scared. He huffed out and propped himself on his knees.

''I'm okay. Just the mating bond breaking.'' he said out loud. He heard his mother sighing in relief. ''Allright. Come down to have breakfast when you're ready.'' she said and then her steps could be heard down the hallway.

Shawn stood up. He slowly went to his closet. The simplest outfits are the best! Gray used to say that a lot. Shawn's heart clenched painfully at the thought of him. However he chose some sweatpants and a black hoodie. He was so used to them he hardly ever wore something else as a top. He unlocked the door and walked down the hallway. Step by step, he trotted down the stairs to the ground floor.

A delicious smell of waffles came from the kitchen. Shawn came in and saw the table sat for two.

''Dad went to the woods for some buisness and I made Zack leave early.'' Shawn jumped at the sudden sound behind him. When he turned around, his mother was shooting him an apologetic glance. ''Sorry. Sweetie why do you still have your hood on?'' she asked in a little voice.

Shawn raised his hand up to pull the hood down. ''I didn't even notice I had it on.'' he whispered. His mother just nodded sadly and went up to him. She hugged him and he instantly flinched.

''Its okay baby. I'm not gonna hurt you.'' she whispered in his shoulder where her head laid. Mrs. Miller couldn't believe how grown her little son was. She remembered his small form, clinging to her and begging for ice cream, his giant gleaming emerald eyes stairing right in her soul. Now, he was atleast 20 cenimeters taller then her. And his eyes were drained and sad. But even then, she could see the innocence behind them. She knew he felt scared and alone, and she wasn't going to let it be like that again.

''Sweetie.'' she voiced and when she raised her head, Shawn looked down at her. Her younger son was truly beautiful. Inside and out. From his big emerald eyes and his feathery brunette hair to his giant heart. But now his once glimmery eyes were dull and his heart and soul were broken. It really pained her to see him like this. Especially when she knew she had time to help. The time ran out.

''I talked to grandma and grandpa. If you ever decide you need a break, they will gladly have you. They miss you. And its really pretty there. The pack is nice to everyone. Their Alphas are gay after all, remember them?'' she said and Shawn nodded.

He loved his grandparents. He just hadn't seen them in a long time. They did live across the world after all. Shawn remembered their last visit to them. It was right before his twelfth birthday.

They were allways special to him. They loved him uncontrollably, lived in a nice big house. He had friends there. He was happy there. There he felt more home then ever here. Through all his pain, he just forgot how happy he used to be.
