Sam had called a house meeting. so now Corey, Aaron, Elton,Devyn, and I are sitting on the couch as Sam stood before us fiddling with his hands. he looked up and we made eye contact. I gave him a reassuring smile telling him to go a head and talk.
• " ok guys. so I need to tell you guys... I'm bisexual. I like boys and girls. and I really hope you guys accept me because you guys are my family. I don't wanna lose you guys.
* "of course we accept you Sam. I'm so proud of you." Devyn stood up and gave him a hug. one by one, they all got up to hug Sam and give him a few kind words. I was the last to get up. he looked at me hopefully. I wrapped my arms around him in a hug and buried my face in his neck. he slung his arms around my shoulders. we stood there in silence for a few minutes. my arms ended up around Sams waist and he had his head against my chest.
~ " I'm so proud of you. you deserve nothing but happiness." I whispered in his ear.
• "thank you. I'm so glad you guys are ok with it. with me. I love my friends.... but I love you the most. that's how I realized I was bi. I caught feelings. for my best friend. for you, Colbs. I love you. as more than my best friend." sam said as he buried his face farther into my hoodie. I pulled back to look him in his eyes.
~ "I love you too Sam. as more than my best friend." I smiled as he lifted his head and leaned up to press a gentle kiss to my lips. ecstatic. that's what I felt.
* " FINALLY! GUYS! Colby's got an announcement!" Devyn yelled from the bottom of the stairs as Sam and I pulled away from each other with smiles on our faces. I playfully rolled my eyes and yelled.
~ "I told him! Solbys real!" the roommates all knew how I felt about Sam. now he does too. I'm so thankful he made his announcement.
