I woke up with my head on Colbys chest and arm wrapped around his waist. I let my eyes adjust to the light of the sun coming through the curtains before I got up to make breakfast. I scrambled eggs, cooked bacon, and made waffles. Colby loves waffles. after the food was done I brought up a tray to Colby, who was still sleeping. he looked peaceful. I put the tray at the end of the bed and slowly climbed on top of him. I straddled his waist and ran my fingers through his hair. his eyes fluttered open and they locked with mine. he smiled when he saw me and looked around, noticing it was morning.
~"goodmorning, Sammy." he said in his morning voice, which was kinda hot, then intertwined our fingers.
*"goodmorning, colbs. I made us breakfast." I climbed off of him and grabbed the tray with our food on it.
his face lit up with a smile as he took the tray from my hands and attacked the waffles. I grabbed the remote and put on the Vampire Diaries. we watched Netflix until we were done eating. after that, I did the dishes and Colby went shower. as I was in the living room cleaning up the little bit of mess we have in our apartment (because I love cleanliness) Colby walked out of the bathroom. he had on grey sweatpants, a light blue sweatshirt, and his hair still wet. he looked comfy. which gave me an idea.
~"hey colbs, can we have a lazy day today?" I asked.
he looked up from his phone and shook his head yes with a small smile on his face. we started getting everything we needed. I set up the Netflix thing in the living room, got snacks, and grabbed blankets out of the room. Colby grabbed pillows from the bedroom, found a series neither one of us has watched, and made tea. he walked over with two mugs and sat next to me. I grabbed my mug and placed it on the side table while I got comfortable. which meant that I waited for Colby to lay down so that I could lean against his side. I curled up with my tea and grabbed our softest and thickest blanket from across the couch. I covered us then snuggled into Colbys side. he wrapped an arm around me, grabbed the remote and pressed play. we spent the day just watching movies and cuddling. we fell asleep a few times, but it didn't bother us. the last episode of the series finished and I looked over to see Colby asleep. he fell asleep holding my hand.(uwu :)) ) I pressed a kiss to his forehead then laid against his shoulder, falling asleep soon after.
