I lazily gazed at my phone, waiting for the next customer to walk in. I heard the bell above the door jingle and immediately looked up. blue met blue and my jaw dropped slightly. he was gorgeous. blonde hair. perfect skin. gorgeous complexion. his sweatshirt was too big for him, which gave him these adorable sweater paws. he smiled a little and my heart fluttered. he carefully walked towards the counter.
*"hi. uh- can I get a double chocolate mocha." he said as he quietly looked over the menu.
~"sure. the name?" I asked as I reached over to grab a cup and marker.
*"Sam." I smiled as I wrote his name with a small heart next to it on his cup.
I began fixing his drink as he spoke.
*"you guys aren't busy today? I usually never come here cause it's always crowded. and I get kinda nervous in crowded places sometimes. I don't know why I told you that, you probably don't care." he rambled as a smile made it's way onto my face and I scanned his facial features. "why are you smiling like that?"
~"cause you're cute." I laughed shyly and finished fixing his drink.
he smiled and looked down. I put the lid on his drink and gave him his cup, our fingers brushing and both of us looking up at the other. we both smiled and he paid. he smiled at me one more time and walked out the door. I sadly sighed, I wanted him to stay a little longer. I turned to clean before the bell jingled again. I turned around to face the door and there he stood. this time, his phone in his hand. he walked to the counter quicker than when he first got here. I looked at him and tilted my head to the side in confusion.
*"I had to go get my phone. you didn't think I was gonna leave without your number did you? you're way too adorable for me not to talk to you again." he laughed and I smiled as he handed me his phone.
I put in my contact information and handed him his phone. he looked at the screen and smiled. he looked at me and our eyes met again.
*"Colby...I like it."
