I turned the music lower before pulling up to the spot and turning the car off. I looked over at Sam and smiled. I shook him awake and told him we were there. he sprung up and opened the car door. he ran to the back of the car and grabbed the blankets. I laughed as I followed him as he found a quiet spot with a direct view of the stars. he laid the blankets out and sat on them. I watched as he looked up at the sky and smiled before turning towards me and motioning me over. I smiled and went sit down next to him. I wrapped an arm around his shoulder before laying us down. we both looked up at the stars, not saying a word. we stayed there for a while. Sam laying his head on my chest and our legs tangled. after about an hour, Sam spoke quietly.
*"it's beautiful out here. thank you." he said as he turned his head and placed a kiss on my cheek.
I smiled and looked at him.
~"the stars are beautiful, but you're prettier." I laughed as he whined and complained about how cheesy it was.
*"I can't believe you said that. it was really cute though." he laughed and went back to looking up at the sky.
I smiled one more time before kissing his head.
*'hey colby..." he said, a gentle smile on his face.
~"yea?" I asked as we looked at each other before he leaned in.
his lips molded against mine like they were made for each other. I sat us up and pressed my hand against his cheek. he moved a hand to the back of my neck, playing with the short hairs that were there. I pulled him so that he sat in my lap and we continued our short make out session before pulling away for air. he leaned his head against mine and our breathing mixed. I opened my eyes right as he opened his.
*"I love you..." he whispered.
~"I love you too. so much." I said before capturing his lips with mine again.
