I woke up with my arm around Colby's waist and my head on his chest. he had one arm around my back and the other behind his head. I smiled to myself and traced his abs. I admired his features. the way his eyelashes gently sat on his cheeks. the way his lips parted slightly when he would breathe. the way his hair would lay messily across his forehead.
~"stop watching me sleep." he mumbled with a small smile.
*"you're cute when you sleep tho." I laughed as I lifted my hand to run my fingers through his hair.
~"it's creepy." he argued back as he leaned into my hand and pulled me closer.
*"it's romantic." I laughed and kissed his cheek.
I tried to pull back, but he grabbed my chin and brought my face closer. our lips collided and I smiled. I felt him do the same. he pulled away and pressed his forehead to mine.
~"that was a nice way to wake up." he laughed as he wrapped both his arms around my waist.
I placed my head back on his chest as he put his chin on top of my head. I smiled and closed my eyes. I could hear his heartbeat and it was the most calming thing ever.
*"don't let me fall asleep. I wanna go shopping today. is that ok?" I asked as I started to feel the tiredness creep back.
~"of course, bubba." he said as he tightened his grip on me in a loving way.
I opened my eyes and took my head off of his chest. I kissed his nose and then went shower.
a little while later....
Colby and I had showered and gotten dressed. we picked out matching outfits. my outfit was a baby blue jumper, white jeans, and black vans. while Colby's outfit was a baby blue jumper, black jeans, and white vans. we ate, brushed our teeth, then drove to the mall.
the first store we walked through was Urban outfitters. I needed new sweatshirts and theirs were always perfect. I shopped while Colby followed me around and played on his phone. we walked through a few more stores before getting to hot topic. the store was super crowded and full of all kinds of people. we walked in and I could feel a few stares. I looked up and made eye contact with a few different people before grabbing Colby's hand and walking to the back of the store.
~"what's wrong, love?" he asked as he pulled me by my hand and wrapped his arms securely around me.
*"I don't like all the people." I said as a few guys gave us a weird look.
Colby's grip tightened and he kissed my cheek before glaring at the douchebags who were looking at us like we kicked a bunny. one guy whispered something to the other and he snickered. I felt Colby pull me a little closer before he spoke up.
~" got a problem, bitch?" he asked with a sassy tone as I leaned against his chest.
"no. but it seems like you do. how about I take that cutie from you and you can enjoy the rest of your day?" one guy spoke as his friends laughed obnoxiously.
~" over my dead body. you better watch your mouth before you get you ass kicked. " Colby spoke as he unwrapped his arms from my waist and took a step forward.
"yeah right" the guy said.
*"does he look like he's joking? leave us alone. or I'll be the one to put you in a hospital room. got it?" I sneered and saw the guys kind of flinch when I walked closer.
my fists tightened and I had to tell myself to breath before I did something.
"whatever. you're probably not worth it anyway." he laughed and turned before walking out of the store.
I turned around and saw Colby standing there with a shocked face. I walked towards him and grabbed his hand. I stood on my tip toes and pressed a kiss to his jaw.
*"why are you looking at me like that?" I giggled as he shook his head and kissed me.
he pulled away and still looked a little shook.
~"that was hot." he chuckled as I blushed and buried my face in his chest.
*"shut up. let's finish shopping. I'm ready to go home." I laughed and pulled him back to the front of the store.
