I opened my door and got out. I walked to sam's side of the car and opened his door for him. he smiled and climbed out before closing his door and grabbing my hand. we walked into the theatre and got our food and drinks. I drug him through the doors and helped him find a good seat.
we sat down and waited through the commercials. sharing laughs and subtle stares. the movie began and started with a jump scare. I felt Sam tense beside me. I reached for his hand and laced our fingers together. I watched as he jumped when a scream erupted from the screen. I wrapped an arm around his shoulder and pulled him close. he leaned his head against my chest and buried his face in my sweatshirt. I kissed his head and continued watching the movie. every time he would get scared, I would pull him closer and feel him relax against me.
after the movie ended, we walked out towards the car and drove home. we walked through the door and went upstairs. Sam walked into my closet and came out a few minutes later. he was dressed in my hoodie and sweatpants. I smiled then changed. I walked back and saw Sam laying on his back, staring at the ceiling. I turned the light off and climbed on the bed. I placed one leg on each side of him and laid my head on his chest. he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my hair. I leaned up, kissed behind his ear then got back into my previous spot.
