Corey, Devyn, Jake, Tara, Colby, and I had gone out to a party for our friend Brennen. we walked into the house and were immediately hit with the smell of alcohol and weed. Corey and Devyn walked off towards the kitchen and Jake and Tara went to talk to Elton in the corner. that left Colby and I. i started walking before I felt someone grab my wrist. I turned and was met with Colby. he smiled and walked up next to me. he wrapped an arm around my waist and let me lead the way. I walked over to a part of the living room that wasn't completely filled with people drunk or high out of their mind. Colby sat down on the couch and pulled me into his lap. nothing sexual. (not on my Christian minecraft server :) ) after we sat for a while and started up a few conversations with each other and a few people we knew around us, Colby got up from the couch and headed to the bathroom. I felt kind of uncomfortable all by myself, but I brushed it off. then, a guy who looked around my age walked over and sat next to me.
"hey cutie. how about we get out of here?" he leaned and whispered in my ear.
I scooted away from him.
*"no thanks. my boyfriend wouldn't like that very much." I told him, but he scooted closer and placed a hand on my thigh.
*"hey, stop!" I yelled as he tried to lean in for a kiss.
~"HEY! GET OFF OF HIM!" I heard a voice over the crowd.
the music had stopped and i saw Colby break through the crowd. he walked over to the guy as he quickly stood up off the couch. Colby grabbed him by his collar and pulled him closer.
~"that's my boyfriend you dickhead. and if you try something like that again, I will make sure that you don't walk out of this party." the venom in Colby's words scared me. I knew he was overprotective, but I had never seen him defend me like that.
the guy looked terrified and nodded as if saying that he understood. Colby let go of his collar and dropped the pervert to the floor.
~"someone escort him out please." Colby announced to the security.
Colby walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me. he hugged me like his life depended on it.
~"are you okay? he didn't do anything to you right? gosh, I would hate myself if I didn't get here before he tried anything. he didn't touch you did he, Sam?" Colby spoke so fast that I almost didn't catch all the words.
I leaned back from the hug and grabbed his face. I planted a kiss on his lips then the tip of his nose. he chuckled lightly but still had worried in his eyes.
*"you got here at the perfect time. he didn't do anything. and he would've had to kill me before I let him touch me. I'm yours. I love you." I hugged him again and then he said we could go home.
we stayed up all night watching movies and eating junk food. I ended up falling asleep with my head on his chest and his arm wrapped around my waist.
