I wake up and smile once I realize what day it is. my boyfriend, Colby, has been on a trip with Elton and Corey for the past two weeks. I couldn't go because I caught the flu the day that we were supposed to leave. Colby wanted to stay behind and take care of me, but I wouldn't let him. so today I get to see him again. I get up, take a shower, eat breakfast, and head to the airport. I drive for an hour and finally arrive. I have never been so excited to see someone. I walk in and wait. his plane should be landing in about 45 minutes. I sit for a while and then go grab a coffee from the cafe. I go back to my seat and get a text.
colbs<3 : plane just landed. I should be walking into the main lobby soon. <3
me: awesome! I missed you too much. can't wait to see you! <3
he read the messages and I waited to see the love of my life walk through the airport. I waited for a few more minutes before I saw Elton. I jumped up and told him hello. then Corey showed up and I greeted him too. after I pulled back from hugging Corey, I turned around and met eyes with Colby. I smiled and ran towards him. he dropped his bags and opened his arms. I jumped into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. he had his arms around me and his head buried in my neck. I planted kisses all over his face. he kissed my neck then pulled back and smiled. he let go of my legs and put me on the floor. I kept my arms around his neck and leaned on my toes to whisper in his ear.
*"I missed you so much." I said as I kind of teared up.
~"I missed you so much more. I love you baby." he whispered back.
*"I love you too. so much."
