"He has done terrible things Caroline. Killed just to get what he wanted and what benefited him. He made Tyler leave town remember that, and he basically kidnapped Stefan for a whole summer and ruined my relationship-" Elena ranted but I cut her off
"You know you speak of all these instances of how he has ruined lives but what about Damon, Elena? When Damon first came to town you didn't know who he was you were all wrapped up in your epic romance with Stefan. He used me Elena as his own personal blood bag, he killed his own uncle remember Zach, Elena. You named all these reasons as to how Klaus is so horrible but your forgetting details, yes in some ways he has only done things that benefited him but majority of the time it was for his family. Trying to protect them from every failed attempt we made in killing them. Yes, he made Tyler leave town but he has also given Tyler the liberty to come back! But did he, no he stayed away and he had Matt to deliver some freaking letter as to why he wasn't coming back. If I remember correctly Stefan chose to go with Klaus just to save Damon's life and Klaus didn't mess up your relationship you were already in love with Damon if you wanted to admit that or not but every body saw it Elena. Sooner or later your relationship with Stefan would have ended it was just a matter of when. So if you want to place the blame on somebody blame yourself for that one and yes I am going to continue to be with Klaus and I'm done trying to explain why". I said walking towards the door
"Do you love him?" Elena asked
"Yes, I do"

"Do you think they will ever come around Nik"
"I don't know,love. It is up to them to decide but until then you'll always have me"
