Klaus' POV
I looked at Caroline and watched as her breathing became harder and heavier. Just as we both were about to close the distance between us and I would finally get a taste of her cherry chapstick that was upon her lips a phone went off

"Sorry I h-have to take this" she said flustered

"That's alright love" I smirked

"Stefan? Hey.... yeah....of course. I'm on my way"

"I have to go and um meet Stefan"

"Alright then love" I said to her but stopped her before she walked out the door

"So, friends then"

"Are you going to let Tyler come back into town?" she asked

"As you can see Love at the moment he is not one of my major concerns" I said and I just knew that she was smiling

"If you need anything feel free....NOT to call me" she said and then left

Caroline POV

Klaus and his stupid smirk, stupid blue-green eyes, stupid perfectly sculpted body, and tattooed sho-no Caroline you have Tyler.
Yes, the same Tyler who is only god knows where because he is currently running from a psychotic hybrid maniac killer

"Stefan? Stefan?! Stef"

"Over here Caroline" he said with a bottle in hand

"So that's the emergency...you need a drinking buddy? Seriously"

"No I need my best friend with the kind of day I had and you just also happen to me my sober coach as well"

"Alright fine. But only because I need a drink also"

"Tough day"

"You don't know the half of it"

"So what happened" Stefan questioned

"What happened in your day"

"Well let's see my girlfriend who just recently turned into a vampire told me that she was in love with my brother. My ex girlfriend from over 90 years ago who has recently been undaggered by her psychotic hybrid brother who just so happened to be one of my best friends in the 1920s I think I'm in love with her. To top it all off we have a psychotic killer on the loose and we don't even know what he truly looks like"

"WOW!" I said after everything. "What! You think your in love with Rebekah"

"Really Care, after all that that's the only part
that you retained"

"What? I can't help what my brain just so happens to focus on"

"My life is so fucked up" Stefan said as I took the bottle from him

"Well your not alone cause I almost just kissed said psychotic hybrid brother" I said taking a swig of the alcohol

"When did this happen and why didn't you tell me until just now"

"Well I honestly just want to forget it Okay"

"Why?"

"Because I just... I just do"

"Why"

"You want to know why Stefan? Because he's... he's him! He's this stupid psychotic hybrid killer maniac who can't take a freakin hint and no matter how hard I try he just always seems to weasel his way into my thoughts and today I almost kissed him and I would have kiss him."

'Wow, some friend I am' I thought

"You know Care you shouldn't feel bad about the way you feel for him"

"Why not I mean he killed Jenna, he killed Tyler's mom and to top it all off he's made all of our lives a living hell...." I said pausing and thinking "but you want to know something else" I said and Stefan looked up. "Out of everything that he's done I can't stop myself from feeling this pull... this attraction to him. This. This allure to darkness that I have to him. He may have done unspeakable things but who hasn't I mean we've all done bad things. We didn't know who they were but they were still someone's aunt, mother, uncle, brother, sister and we took that away from others as well. So what makes us any more better than the rest of them."

"Let's not forget I practically invented the word Ripper. So what are you going to do"

"I have no idea what about you"

"Well if 160 years has taught me anything is that don't wait around. If you want something go get it" Stefan said getting up

"Where are you going"

"I'm going to go get it" Stefan said walking out the door leaving me to my thoughts
