Caroline sat in her room with eyes flowing free of tears. Tyler had just left deciding that revenge was more important than them and their relationship.
....
"Caroline" a voiced called slowly coming into the room
"What is it Klaus? Can't you see that I am not in the mood" Caroline said with her backed turned on the hybrid
"Where is Tyler"
"Who knows? He could be somewhere off with some pack in the mountains doing who knows what....We just broke up"
Although Klaus should be ecstatic about the news that Caroline is no longer with the Lockwood boy he is not. Something inside of him did not like the way she looked sitting upon her bed all heart broken it made his dead heart clench. Coming over he stood above her looking down at her.
"Why are you here Klaus? Aren't you suppose to be off to New Orleans causing distraction and mayhem"
"I am here for you, Caroline, I came to say goodbye to you" he said moving a fallen piece of her hair out of her face
"Are you truly leaving"
"Yes love, I am. I would offer you a plane ticket to join me but I already know your answer"
"So I guess that this is it"
"I guess so. Remember Caroline, however long it takes. Goodbye love" Klaus said kissing her forehead and walking towards the door
"Wait Klaus! Do you mind if- if I come with you, you know just for a few days to clear my head and take a break from this place" Caroline said nervously
"Of Course Love, be ready by morning" Klaus stated leaving Caroline feeling like for once in her life she was FINALLY THE ONE.
